I bought this bag to replace an older bag that was too deep and required you to arch backwards to get your hands in it when you were wearing a harness. This bag appeals to me because it is more shallow, and the opening is wider and retains its shape, making it very easy to get your hands on it. The issue is that the drawstring that is supposed to keep the bag closed is practically useless. The bag does not completely close. It's a long way off. I can only fit three fingers through it, which means I'll get chalk all over my climb shoes, harness, and other gear if it ever tips over in my gear bag. I'm thinking about returning it. For me, Kavu is a local brand that I usually enjoy. This bag does not meet their high expectations. Maybe it's just my bag, but the photo is literally as far as the bag closes.
I've been using a chalk sock and a chalk block to write on the wall, but the chalk rubs off about halfway up. I decided to get a chalk bag because my hands are naturally sweaty. I just got it and haven't used it or put chalk in it yet, but it closes completely and is very secure around my waist; I'm looking forward to trying it out later today. The design is fantastic; I had a difficult time finding a bag with a design that I liked and that received positive feedback. This was the ideal one!.
I bought a small bag because I'm a beginner climber, and it's fantastic! It has a lovely design. It's fuzzy on the inside, which makes it more comfortable to hold when you get chalk on your hands. It also has a strap that you can tie around your waist; it's a little on the small side, but it works well for me.
This was purchased as a treat bag for our dog's obedience training, and it works perfectly. The print is lovely, and the fabric is of good quality and durability. It has a soft fleece lining as well. The opening is also a good size for me. This is something I'm thinking about borrowing to use as a chalk bag.
This is a lovely bag. I'm looking forward to using it at the gym because it cinches up tight so no chalk gets lost.

This is what I use for lifting and it works great. Keep a firm grip on the chalk. I removed the strap so it wouldn't be all over the place, but it would be fine if you were climbing. I would give it a 10/10!.
I really like the chalk bag, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it at the gym. It's the perfect size, and I like that it has a drawstring to keep your chalk from flying out!.
