Questions & Answers
Only Air Dancers® inflatable tube men are available on Amazon, and LookOurWay® does not yet have a 6ft attachment. These listings are in the works, and we hope to have them up on Amazon soon.
The dancer is attached to the audience via a velcro strip. They sent you the incorrect size dancer for your base if your dancer is far too large to secure to the base.

For the dancer to work, you'll need a blower or motor.

The first box arrived crushed; a replacement was ordered, but it arrived damaged as well. The screen on the bottom of the blower is crushed, but the blower worked, so it wasn't worth the effort to return it a second time. The dancer in the air is amazing! It's impossible not to smile, and it's best to use it outside because the blower is quite loud. We're using it to get smiles on our trawler's upper deck. I'd buy it again, but with double boxing this time. This is a fantastic deal.
It only took a few minutes to set up the Air Dancer and have it waving around. We planned to use it as an animated scarecrow to keep deer out of our large garden. It was hidden beneath a shed to keep it out of the elements and hopefully extend its life, but that was not to be. After a few weeks of operation, it began to make a loud noise, and upon dismantling it, we discovered that the fan motor mount nuts had come loose, allowing the fan to strike the casing. The nuts were tightened and replaced, and the dancer resumed her choreographed routine. I have to admit, that silly grin was entertaining to watch, and the deer avoided our garden while it was in use. The unit, however, failed completely after only a week. The fan unit appears to be of low quality in general. That is exactly how it has performed. I'd call this a good "scare crow," but it's not a long-lasting product, so I'll be looking for something else on Amazon. .
It works now, but only after I fixed the problem with the fan blades colliding with a section of the fan's molded plastic frame. It didn't work right out of the box, but after further investigation, it was discovered that the fan blades were colliding with a portion of the frame, preventing the motor from running. So I simply cut a small diagonal portion of the blades off and it now works fine; however, I'm not sure I'd recommend it to anyone.
It was purchased to prevent birds from perching on my boat (which was parked in a lift slip) and leaving unappealing droppings. In the three months since the air dancer was installed, there has not been a single bird dropping. Set it to run throughout the day on a timer. Over the years, I've tried a lot of different bird deterrents, and this is the only one that actually works.
We simply did not receive the color that we had requested. This tube man was purchased to keep the grackles from eating all of our bird seed. We used a plug-in device to connect it to the internet. Our smartphones can be used to control the outlet from inside the house. To get the grackles to leave, we only need to inflate it for a few seconds at a time, and it appears to be quite durable so far. We ordered blue but received red, which is the only reason I didn't give it a perfect rating.
After the birds ate all of the cherries off of my first two fruit trees this year, I bought this as a scarecrow for my fruit trees. I initially placed it about 30 feet away from the tree, but after about 5 days, the birds began eating the cherries on the previous tree, so I moved it closer to the tree (about 10 feet away) and that seemed to work. I've never gotten more than a handful of cherries from any of my trees before. Apricots, peaches, plums, and apples will be the next fruits to arrive. Hopefully, the birds won't figure it out and the deterrent will continue to work.
If an air dancer does not make you happy, medication and therapy may be necessary. This guy can be used for both indoor and outdoor events. Even though he doesn't say much, he is the life of the party.
Our tube man was only used once or twice a week for 30 minutes each time, and it worked fine until day 31 of the 30-day return period, when it began making a horrible clacking noise and eventually stopped working. We were disappointed because we had also purchased a larger one from the same seller, which we have yet to use because it is for the Fourth of July.
