The Zapper mesh will go great with all of our Bear Butt hammies, which is gray and black!
You would require a ridgeline of just a hair over 9 feet if you are using an 11 foot hammock and a structural ridgeline at 83%. Thus, if you apply that calculation, then the Bear Butt 10' 4" (lengthwise) bug net should work correctly.
For the Bear Butt double hammock that measures 10' by 6', it should be sufficient that the netting would cover the hammock. With the hook and loop system the net zips open and closes, and the rope ends have draw ties.
Hi Richard, thanks for asking. We have the same-sized bug nets, which are 10ft x 4ft.

I wanted to keep this net as long as I could, despite my name (lol). The problem is. The hammock is on the small side. With a height of only 10 feet, long hammocks like mine aren't practical The mesh cannot be stretched without causing the item to be uncomfortable. We are pleased with the workmanship and quality of the product The quality of This net seems awesome, but I don't know what it's all about. A. & B. I'm not even counting the awesome company. The name of the author In addition to this, my choice of this net over others that I looked at)). Sadly, I'll have to look for another provider as the length of this network just isn't enough for my needs, but it would certainly be worth considering for others as well, given my initial impression!.
Sleepers stretched out in the hammock became closely positioned to the net, which posed a problem only due to the close proximity of their bodies to the net. As a matter of fact, these failures aren't the fault of the bug net. It has to do with the way the net hangs Despite many attempts, I was unable to eliminate the problem other than to place a blanket and hammock fabric between my arms and the net (to make it as hard as possible for biting insects to land on my arms). Although bugs were abundant during the time I used this app on the Appalachian Trail, I did not encounter many during my 5 day test. Yet I noticed that it blocked everything from bees to gnats of various sizes An insect of this size. A of the features I liked was the stuff bag built into the backpack. The only thing I would change about it is Please note
In downpours (i. e. , in an inland area), hanging this with string takes longer than I would like. The rain gets on it when you try to put it up. Anything that could make a quick zip can be of help here, but I'm not sure what the perfect answer is It's a tie It would be big improvement if you could attach the ring to a tree. Please note
The Bear would be better off if this stayed attached to it You can still pack the hammock in the stuff sack in case of rain (for the situations previously mentioned).
For overnight camping in the woods of Wisconsin, I have used this bug net several times. With the Bear Butt Double Hammock in mind, the zipper makes life easy, and the ridgeline works well with the suspension system. The only downside is that the paracord for the ridgeline isn't as long as it could be. I'd like it to be an extra 3 or 4 feet so that one can tie it from tree to tree, like you do with As a result, I've decided to tie one end to my hammock strap at the point above where the hammock connects to it, and the other end to the tree where the mock is mounted.
There is nothing wrong with this product, but I would like it to last There is nothing close to long enough string in the bug net to hang it properly. You will definitely need to bring paracord since the string is so small. Unlike the bug net, the rain fly itself is longer than the strings used to hang it. You can get it working once you have it set up. It would have been nice if there was more room in the bug net near the hammock ends.
Although I love my hammock from bear butt, I wish I could say the same about the mosquito net that bear butt provided. Clips attached to the rope are flimsy and easy to break. My second clip failed to attach when I attached it for the very first time. My theory is that it will deteriorate and become more brittle over time.
You can stuff it back into the stuff sack without much difficulty. It is very frustrating to get up to open/close the horizontal zippers, and this is a problem with all vertical zippers as well. I don't know how to explain it, but when it comes to the hammock, if the zippers are open all the way, it's difficult to reach inside. From this perspective, I understand why some people prefer to use vertical zippers.
Stores easily and is easy to use. As easy to carry as a hammock and folds into its Tie the hammock with the ties at one end and place it in the hammock. You can choose between two zippers to open the bag. Additionally, it is of good quality. I have yet to be bitten! Bear Butt is to be expected to deliver nothing less.
I cannot use this as a hammock because it is too snug. In addition to the hammock I own, I tried two others owned by friends, and they didn't fit as well. There are several difficulties with getting into and out of the hammock due to the location and orientation of the zipper. My group didn't use this item because no one in my group could find a use for.
