On my winter camping trips I brought handwarmers and footwarmers in addition to these. Clearly, these large Super Warmers are at their best. They could take 20 to 30 minutes to heat. Even though the heaters take 30 minutes to heat up in very cold weather, once they are hot, they keep you warm. I find these to be indispensable when I am camping in the winter In temperatures well below 10 °F the next morning, I find that sleeping with one in my sleeping bag does the trick. The handwarmers I used to use are too small and I won't use them again. Having just one of these keeps me warm for quite a while, allowing me to switch between pockets and hold onto it.

In cold weather, this is a must-have piece of gear! Life and limb are on the line with these! Since I was wearing mountaineering socks, the heat didn't burn my skin, but gave my poor nearly numb, cold toes life. They remained super warm for 12 hours, and after that, I could still use them in my pockets for my hands for 14 hours. There have been 16 hours since the last update. The same thing happened to my partner, he could only sleep a short while before his feet became unbearably cold. If you are going camping, they would be a great choice since they are good to have when it is cold. Sleep is now possible, and they deserve a pat on the back.

I don't think there are three pairs. In the first place, they say you get a '3 pair pack' of hand warmers My order of 3 pairs thought to be 3 of both sizes, but it turned out I only got one super warmer, so I had to share them among my family. I received a couple large ones that were easy to use, but took a long time to activate and heat This package has only 3 hand warmers which is not enough to satisfy my needs so I'd rather only buy the small hand warmers, instead of the 3 in this package.

In your car, it is a great thing to have. Irritation from being stuck in the snow in your car and freezing to death is not an excuse. There should ALWAYS be a bugout bag in the trunk of a car with snacks, blankets and these hand warmers in it. Snowmobile trips with them have been a great experience for me. As well as keeping them handy in my car and my bug-out bag, I give them as Christmas presents. The more I buy, the better off I will be!.

The next morning, after the frost has dissipated, you can still use them while waiting for the sunrise. All you need to do is stuff one in the foot of your sleeping bag and you'll stay toasty all night. Thank you for the warmers, I am super happy with them!
