Today is November 24, 2020. The package's expiration date is October 27, 2014, but they're still in perfect working order - They were never opened or let out into the open. As long as the package is completely sealed and pliable, it should be fine. You don't have to throw out the contents/ingredients just because the date has passed. First, give them a shot.
No tape. For a few hours, it can get quite hot, so I'd recommend putting your hands in a pocket inside your jacket.
For me, it was successful. U.S.A. to U.S.A. to Nepal.

When it's cold outside, I put one of these under the cover of the little makeshift houses for the cats who have adopted us; they have towels and blankets, and I put one of these under the cover, and it keeps them warm all night.
I've been using these hand warmers for a long time. primarily for the purpose of camping They work well and have made camping in the colder months a lot more fun. One trick I discovered was that because these work when exposed to air, you can "turn them off" by sealing them in a zip bag if you don't need all eight hours at once. When you remove them from the oven, they will warm up again until they are consumed.
These are the kinds of people I'd like to marry. They keep me warm at night and provide a great deal of comfort, so they fulfill some of the functions of a spouse. I keep them in my sweatshirt pockets, tuck them under my blankets in bed, and carry them when it's cold outside. It's as if I'm carrying around my own personal heater. Because I have trouble regulating my temperature as a result of a health problem and frequently shiver, I'm a sucker for these items. They're also made entirely of natural materials, which I appreciate.
Then everything goes crazy. I used it for the cold nights at high altitude, as well as for a few hikes and at - They made a huge difference to me when it was 10 degrees Celsius and windy. Furthermore, they are extremely durable - I didn't time it, but it seems like about 16 hours; highly recommended for those who can't stand the cold.
These HotHands keep me warm during the cold months. They must be used on a daily basis. Despite my small hands, I'm glad they came up with this larger size. However, they were small enough to fit into my mittens. I also keep them in the pocket of my sweatshirt. From 8 a. m. to 8 p. m. , they remain warm. from 8:00 a. m. to 8:00 p. m. 00 in the evening However, some come with an adhesive backing, which is NOT as warm or flexible as these. These can save your life.
I love it so much that I tuck it between my dog's coats when we go for walks in the cold, and I use it on my belly when I get monthly cramps and lower back/neck pain. It's so good that I wish they'd make a bodysuit out of it;.
When my propane ran out, I stuffed a bunch of them into my sleeping bag. All night long, I was toasty warm.
Because I suffer from mild Raynaud's Syndrome, I always have a couple of these on hand. It's fantastic! They maintain their heat for several hours.
