During the colder months, they may need "Oxygen", or even just air to warm up. As long as the package has not been opened, they are inactive. How about sending an e-mail to the manufacturer to ask if we can make them without oxygen?
I have found that they stay warm for six hours, or less, after being microwaved.
There are no warnings about flame retardancy on these, and they are solid on the inside. I don't see why they shouldn't be able to travel It is recommended that you contact the TSA if you are unsure.

suffer from Raynaud's syndrome and these things can mean the difference between enjoying time spent outdoors and hating it to the core. When I was a child, I lived in climates where the temperature outside was often in the 50's, and even with thick work gloves, my finger tips would get numb after a short time without an outside source of heat. There is just enough heat here to sustain you for hours, but the long-lasting nature of these means they do last for hours.
One trick I learned is to open the packs up about 15 minutes before use. To get the best results, fill them with hot water 30 minutes prior to using. It only has one negative the packaging is difficult to open without a knife or scissors. Especially if your fingers are numb, this may be challenging. Although I understand the scenario is to be expected for a product that requires exposure to air to function. The goal is not to accidentally open them and be unable to use them in a timely manner.
The cold weather in Colorado makes staying warm a challenge. His hand warmers keep him happy as long as they're close. Despite the cold weather, they remain warm all In the morning, I usually activate them around 8 a. m. The meeting will take place at 7 p. m. I still feel warm from them. The other thing I love about these is that there is no grit or dust that comes With other brands, my hands and gloves end up gritty and disgusting after using them. These have never given us any problems, and we regularly make use of them.
The first time I put it in my pocket after opening the package, I was pleasantly surprised by how warm it felt. When I checked on it a few minutes later, I realized that it was worth getting a lot more of. A warm welcome is not all there is I really like this weather. It has been suggested to put them in a Ziploc bag when you just use them for a little while, then you can take them out and they will heat back up again until you finish using A copy of one was placed in a bag this morning and taken out. As you can see, it is now warm and cozy! Some of the packages I gave my friends may have caused me regret. Each and every one of these is worth every penny.
An area of the carotid artery was dissected in my wife's neck and her carotid artery received a 100% blockage. The other three major arteries in her skull have been working overtime to pick up the defect from the occluded artery. She has been in quite a bit of pain. A stroke would have been devastating for her - she was very lucky to avoid one Due to her health, weight, cardio and diet, she has a crick in her neck. She has been suffering from acute pain in her eye, neck, teeth, and head (all on the right side) as she recovers from the blockage. As this situation continues to improve, she has found some relive and solace as she uses these warming pads. Though my wife hasn't quite mastered opening packages herself, they seem to be a quality product. But, we don't use them in the way that most people do, so we can't truly judge.
Despite the fact that this pack has an expiration date of June 2018, the hand warmers work well. I have gotten 2 or more packs before in every other purchase I have made There is still 3 years until the expiration of my cards. Unsure as to why I received one that was almost expired As a result, I buy more than I need because I know they last quite a while. I will no longer be able to use some of these now that they have expired.
In a nutshell, Several reviewers stated that they expected them to heat up instantly and that they were not really aware of how these work. It is best to open them up at least 10 minutes before you intend to use them because they heat up really slowly. A video showing the first four minutes after I pull a pair out of their wrappings can be found here. Using a thermal camera (no audio), the video shows the temperatures in the frame at the minimum and maximum. On the beginning of the video, the table is much hotter than the hand warmer, and on the end the hand warmer is much hotter than the table. The temperatures below are in Celsius. (If you don't know the conversion, you can Google it. ) These were only the first 4 minutes and the warmers increased 13 degrees during that period. As soon as I stopped the video, they kept heating up.
