My husband and I used this for a week in the BWCA, and it was If you fill it from a stream or lake, that's fine. Filling a collapsible 5 gallon container in the lake, then pouring it into the shower, was the answer to our problem.
I am writing to you as your I appreciate you taking an interest in my bag for a solar shower. During installation of the hose, you may wish to extend it. Taking it apart is all you need to do. I'd love to exchange a long one with you.
Considering replacing the hose as well, but have not yet put the effort into it. Afterwards, I'll see if I can get any recommendations from the plumbing aisle at my local hardware store. I wish you the best of

My young daughter and I bought this for a solo camping trip and it worked great! I filled it with water and left it in the sun throughout the day, so it was nice and warm when we needed I had no problem with it getting hot since the weather was in the 80's the whole time I was there. In direct sun, I left it on a chair for several hours and the temperature gauge rose to 101 degrees! The hood of my car would also be a good place to place it to keep the temperature down. We used it on top of my Jeep to take a shower and it worked perfectly! It is equipped with a small lever that allows it to be opened and closed easily. Rather than using both the hose and nozzle, I simply removed the nozzle, opened the fill part, and then simply slid the bag onto a branch with the branch going into the bag to keep it open to dry completely. It is the perfect bag to store in a mesh bag since it does not take up much space once in the bag. Keeping in mind that any item that has soaked up water must be dried completely in order to avoid mold growth.
When it's full, I don't fill it all the way up, so if it's too hot, I can add cold water to lower the temperature It is easy to gauge the amount of warmth in a container by looking at the temperature gauge. We have no problems with the sprayer or valve. I have only one disappointment with this product, and it's a minor one---the filling cap does not seal completely. Having the black side down and the clear side up causes the fill cap to be at the bottom where it drips steadily. This is a slight problem, since the bag heats up best when the black side is down and the clear side up. Although there is still plenty of water left even after two hours, it's not very impressive. The purchase still satisfied me and I would buy it again in the future.
Portable shower that looks pretty cool! The fact that I live by the beach and surf year round as well as camp during the summer will really come in When I first looked at the temperature gauge on the back, I was concerned because it appeared the temp was only C. However, once the water comes in, it will illuminate the temperature There is an on/off switch for the water on the hose, and the flow is great. There is a pouch which is large enough to hold a bar of soap to be used. It comes with a nice strap so you can hang it up when not in It's so convenient to be able to fold it for a small, portable storage space. This is an excellent item for the price. I am considering getting a few more for gifts now that I have used mine and liked it.
My car oil no longer smells like sand. This is so helpful to me and I don't have to vacuum sand out of it anymore! This shower is VERY heavy and will only work if you hang it on something high like a tree or if you hold it up in the air by yourself. If you do it that way, it will be best to have someone help you. The rest is up to you. This is a great app and I love using it with my kids too.
If you're a fan of camping, then this product is worth the investment. If you can't get access to running water during an emergency, this product will help you out. It is a must have product, which is why I give it 5 stars
Pros The contents of the bag are easy to carry in the travel bag thanks to the thick materials used, the bag is easy to put together and hang while the water is warming up, and the temperature strip on the bag is easily visible. The cons are My tube is a little too short, but you can easily replace it with the length that is right for you.
The following *br There is a little spout over which the hose slips. The following *br Any movement to one side of the hose will kink it, since the spout cannot turn. The following *br You can get a lot of water out of the shower. I am not sure how useful it would be when showering, but it is great for washing off feet, dishes, shoes, etc. There is a switch on the nose that allows it to be turned on and off. The following *br There is some leakage, even when the unit is The following *br When held at certain angles, water cannot escape the hose due to the vacuum created by water. The shower is not good enough to be a main source of bathing. For any outdoor rinsing that you may require, this would be the ideal product.
Water heated up within four hours. We loved that there was a thermometer on the bag with a F/C temperature gauge. The power button makes it easy to turn on or off. I only want to draw It is hard to lift 5 gallons of water when it is that heavy. Intended for half-size When the water is full, you will be able to take a shower without running out, and maybe even wash your hair on top of that. Getting someone to assist is all I need to dry it out (not sure how to do it, but I will figure it out). I used this when camping in Maine on a remote property and it came in quite handy.
The collapsible and convenient design makes it perfect for any location. The flow of the water can be adjusted. The only complaint is that it comes with a 16 inch hose for connecting the bag to the shower head, and the plastic tubing was folded in half for shipment, leaving it permanently kinked. Several years ago I bought a 5' hose at my local My shower tent needs to reach inside it, so it would be much better if it could reach there. As the flow opening does not extend all the way to the very bottom of the bag, it is difficult to drain completely. Same problem if you turn the bottle upside down to drain since the opening is not at the I looked at other options as well, but they all seemed to have the same problem. It is likely to work in the long run.
