A little over a month has passed since we have had this portable shower. The house will be built out of shipping containers, but in the meantime, the family is living in a camper on the property while we work on the house. A week later, we spent a week camping in the Smoky Mountains. It doesn't have showers at the campgrounds there. Using this, a shower tent, a 6 ft chunk of 3/4 inch pvc pipe (to hold the shower head), and a 27 gallon storage bin, I came up with a solution. A potable water supply was available Filling up the tub and then heating it in the turkey fryer for 5 gallons led me to do this. I found this to work I was really pleased with the way it works, plenty of water comes out, and I can hear it running at a decent pressure. How long will it last? I managed to make it through three showers a day over a week, or I think the 27 gallon tub was overkill. After 3 showers we had used only half of it. I'd say it does a little bit less than one gallon per Ideally, I wish there was some additional length to the cord, maybe a foot or two. I didn't find anything wrong with it, however.

I was able to save the day this way. We replaced our electric water heater with a natural gas one after the electric one died.
