Questions & Answers

What's the longest time it takes to take a shower with a 5 gallon bucket of water (in minutes)?

In theory, I hope the battery power will get weaker and lead to a slower run time for In several bench tests, I observed the amount of power that it drains as soon as the battery is full. Averaging 16 minutes took several times to come to an average. It will take 5 seconds per gallon if you fill a bucket at that rate. If you fill a bucket at that rate, it will last 330 seconds (5 minutes The power is going to be shut off when I'm done using it.

To reach the shower handle, what is the length of the hose from the pump?

We hung the showerhead above us in the shower tent with the pump part in a water bucket and the pump part in a water bucket. It's probably about 7 feet high. This is partly due to its simplicity, which makes it so useful

What are the replacement options for the showerhead? The camco I want to use with it would be The following link Go to http//www. The Amazon website. How about Amazon.com/gp/product/B00192KYFO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00? Does IE=UTF8&ps work?

If the manufacturer does not confirm that the pump has an internal pressure relief arrangement, then I would not recommend it. The pump looks like a diaphragm-type positive displacement pump, similar to an aquarium air pump. It works using a solenoid-type switch Piston was used to move a diaphragm forward and backward. As the piston moves, the diaphragm forms part of a chamber that increases and decreases in size. The non-renewable power would be Ball check valve) on both the inlet and outlet of the chamber. design of the diaphragm pump allows the working machinery to be completely separated from the pumped fluid, and they are as such designed so that the process fluid (in this case water) is not required The pump is a positive displacement pump, so it moves the same amount of water regardless of the back pressure it is pumping against. This means the weakest point will fail (leak) if the pump is running and the hose outlet is closed with a valve on the shower head. Typically, the power system has one of three seals the gasket, the hose, or the Shrapnel from the explosion, or being struck by the flailing hose, especially if it is fitted with a metal fitting or ferrule, could cause severe injuries if the weakest point happens to be the shower head immediately upstream of the valve. In view of the fact that the shower head is only six inches away, the manufacturer would have assumed that the pump's switch would be within reach when the shower heads are in use. The length of the table is 5'. Adding a switch to the shower head would add significant cost, utility, and reliability concerns to the design. The switch would require an electrical cable along the length of the hose, with the armour needed to prevent the cable from being damaged, A second one is located in the shower head, and one in the pump housing.

The product works well in emergencies and as described

There is nothing I want more than to hear "Love it!" Several reviews have been posted on the site. As a result of reading that review, I ordered this product. * * * This product works as described and was worth buying. A photo shows how many water holes are in the shower head compared to other shower heads at a campsite. A hook is provided on the shower to hook the head on, but the hose is too short for my 5'7" height, as the pump portion must remain in the water bucket if the bucket is lying The product is good and I will recommend it to my family and friends. This is the short version of the The following is a detailed review of the topic. For those who strive for comprehensive, honest product reviews, I'd like to tell you It is a portable shower that I bought a year ago for car camping and have practiced using. My ankle bones on both sides of the ankle were broken when I fell in the hallway yesterday. Ahh, that's such a bummer, isn't it? The downstairs of my house does not have a shower or bathtub, and I really wanted to take a shower before I put on the ankle dressing since it should not For protection of the dressing I put a pile of clean plastic trash bags in a bag and used the Ivation Portable Outdoor Shower. I have reviewed this product based on my experiences with the portable shower in the real world. Fortunately, I was able to count on my family member for assistance. On top of a couple of towels I put the commode chair and the standby person threw a couple of towels on the floor. In a large plastic basin, I placed the uninsured foot. A few dry towels were nearby that I had purchased on Amazon. It was made with concentrated Dr. Bonner peppermint soap. It can be purchased on Amazon in several scents and unscented as well. There was water in the bathroom sink, along with a small amount of liquid soap from Dr. Bonner. Despite making a mess with the water, I decided to take a The towel barrier only allowed a few drops of water to escape. My favorite part of this is 1) The hose was long enough to reach the place I needed it to. My hair, which is approximately 5'7", had to be bent for the water to reach it. When the hose is out of the water, water is still present in it. My favorite aspect of this hotel was their water basin and faucet located at waist height. If you are tall, I recommend raising the basin so you can wash your hair with the hose. 2) It can be charged via USB, making it convenient to use a laptop or other USB outdoor device to charge. The device was not charged for a year, and the shower was still powerful. 3) Hold the bottom end of the hose tight enough to kink it to stop water flow. Water will flow as long as there is water in the pump at the bottom. Taking two hands to fold the hose was not an option. Strong and thick, the hose should last a long time. 4) The on off switch is on the opposite end of the pump from the USB plus and is very easy Besides the plastic cap, the switch is also covered by a hard plastic ring. For the push button to be seen, you need to pull off the cap. 5) One gallon of water can provide one with After taking a shower, I used two gallons to wash my hair as well. The water I used could have been conserved if I had been more efficient. has a lot of shower holes that allow it to be used by people and pets alike. As a result, water is used more efficiently. As the water leaves the hose, it cools. Therefore, you should start with very warm water, but not hot. If you are allowing children or the elderly to use the shower, make sure that the water is at the desired temperature. Common sense is the best guide. 1) Come prepared with a tent and sleeping bag A portable shower system like this is a good idea. If you have a black bag over the water, you can heat it with solar power or by using water from a campfire. Water that is hot should be handled carefully. The weight of the backpack may be too much for backpacking Even if it requires a couple of extra pounds to get the family outside, the end result of happy campers is worth it. •8) The shower device may be useful for power outages, natural disasters, emergency medical services, natural disasters, and building and construction sites. 9) I'm not sure how long it takes to charge the device, but I can say that my device maintained a strong charge in storage for almost a year. 10) If you use a biodegradable, biologically neutral soap, such as soapseed, while standing in a basin, the water can be poured out in a specific location without harming the environment. A few of these soaps can be found It's impossible for me to say if these will harm the device. I used Dr. Bonner to test it. The slippery nature of oils makes them dangerous. In my case, I did not add oils to the water and do not recommend it. After the shower, apply oils, lotions and creams to your body, and wear socks that are untucked so that the lotions and oils can be absorbed into your skin. Be careful not to The following things I did not like 1) The entire pump includes a turn-off switch and a USB charging slot. The entire unit goes into In time, the device will no longer function due to water entering the component. There should be either a longer warranty or the manufacturer should rethink the idea of having everything underwater. 2) It is awkward to reach into the water to turn off the power to the device when you need to stop it to wash up or clean yourself each time you need to stop it. If you want to stop the water flow, that's what you have to do reach down into the water and push the on/off button or twist This device looks very slick, but it does have a few drawbacks It is unavoidable to bend over to turn off the device, and water will fly everywhere while you try to balance on one foot to reach into the water and turn off the device. There is a grey cap on the device that must be removed to operate. Users may find it confusing to use the grey cap because it doesn't seem to create a water seal around the on/off switch. It was actually on a YouTube channel called CheapRVLiving that I first discovered it. For access to the video comparing outdoor shower devices on that channel, please go there. It was said that people just want a statement as to whether the product was working As I describe it to him, I enjoy showing him how your helpful votes add up because it shows him that you kept reading until It would be better for him if he spent more time reading the actual reviews instead of just looking at the stars so he wouldn't have to exchange or return so many items. People who read reviews know what they are buying, which means they have a good experience.

My husband and I both enjoyed Despite this, however

I loved my Portable Shower so much that I used it twice on two different camping trips. During the third trip, however, the receiver thread for the shower hose and head broke when I tried to screw it in, resulting in a useless shower. When I called Invation's Customer Support, they instructed me to send an email to info@myivation. com. We encourage you to upload photos if possible, and to include a description. That was what I did In the past two weeks, twice. The two times when I contacted the company, I did not receive any response. Needless to say, we were deeply disappointed since we enjoyed As I mentioned earlier, I do not intend to spend the money on the replacement, and I am really disappointed with I'm from Kent, and I live in Bakersfield,.

An explosion caused by a powerful battery There is danger
3/5

I DO NOT recommend that you purchase! Here's what's going on. We lowered the volume in our house. In the three photos below from our security camera, I have a photograph of the scene before the explosion. Most of it is out of frame, but you can see a little orange along the bottom middle. The portable shower is what we are talking about. Today, I plugged it into a charging station to charge it. I have provided a screenshot of the moment at which the explosion happened in the following two pictures. I'm glad nothing caught fire with this device.

Do not buy it. There's no way to do this safely!.

It's the lack of service by the customer services department that stinks
3/5

The product is good, holds the charge, and provides a good It is just a matter of not losing the charging cord, as my 16 year old son did, between his upstairs bathroom and living room. As of December 5, I have been on a fool's errand trying to get a response from Ivation regarding a replacement cord.
1) I called on 12/5, and was told to submit a request via email. A done deal. A response was received stating they would check the warehouse and contact me as soon as possible. 2) sent email on 12/8, but to date have not heard any response. 1) 12/14-2 A recorded lecture on the importance of my call took me 30 minutes to listen to The call was eventually routed to a "directory extension" where the person was unavailable. A message has been left, but no response has been received. 12/15 - 12/18 I called again, and a human was on the line. When the person questioned my request, the call was dropped. Five) I called back, and the person said they were "really busy this time of year" and that is why I still have not heard back. I contacted my supervisor by phone, who said he would look into it and reply by the end of the working I did not clarify the day's end when I wrote in my comment. ** 6) I haven't received a response yet. I am totally frustrated with the entire experience of dealing with this firm. **Always remember the caveat.

It does a good job, but you must get a good charger! In my experience with the product after using it for one month, there is not a single significant complaint It has now been almost two months since I have used it for about three minutes each day A charge of three weeks would be an impressive duration based on that usage! Several important points are left out of the manual and it is hard to read There are two status lights on the charger that begin red and end blue after it has taken two hours to fully charge
4/5

While charging wall power consumption starts at 16 watts and gradually drops to 8 watts, once which the product disconnects itself from the charger on a *50% duty cycle (probably to ensure safety-- The design is good). My USB (5V, In 1a), the charger gets a bit too warm during charging due to overworking. The following is a major caveat It is not recommended to use your computer's USB port to charge this product, as this may cause it to malfunction. A charger / power supply that can deliver at least 20 watts (4 amps) is recommended since the maximum charging current is over 3 amps at 5 volts. USB computer ports have to support one continuous power draw of up to 1 watt as the minimum specification. A 5 amp A 5 Watt light source). This product shouldn't have been intended to be operated with a USB charging device Many 'power supply bricks' are available which could be attached to a shower head with the connector.
