Questions & Answers

A bucket of water with a capacity of 5 gallons can provide a shower lasting about 5 minutes. ?

Hopefully the battery power will become weaker and the run time of 5 gallons will become shorter. As I started with a full battery, I ran several bench tests to see how quickly the battery drains, starting from As a result of several repetitions, the average came to 16 minutes. gallon. With a 5 gallon bucket at that rate, it will only last 5 minutes and 30 seconds. In the future, I intend to shut it off and on

To the handle on the shower, how long is the hose that goes from the pump?

The pump part fit perfectly into a bucket of water, and I hung the showerhead above us in our shower tent. It may be about 7 feet long. We enjoy its simplicity because it makes our work so much easier.

What are the options for replacing the showerhead? Here's what I'd like to do with my camco Here's the link Visit our website. The Amazon website. IE=UTF8 and PS=?

If the manufacturer does not confirm that the pump includes an internal pressure relief mechanism, I would not recommend it. This pump is likely a diaphragm-type positive displacement pump, similar to an aquarium air pump. It appears to work via a solenoid-type mechanism. A piston operated by a cord moved a diaphragm. Whenever the piston moves, the diaphragm moves along with it, creating a chamber that increases and decreases in size. The non-profit organization would be involved There is probably a return valve (probably a spring-loaded one) An assisted ball check valve (ABCV) is installed on both the chamber inlet and chamber outlet lines. Diaphragm pumps separate the working machinery from the fluid flowing through them, and they are designed so that bearing lubrication or motor cooling does not need to be accomplished by the process fluid (water, in this case). Unlike a negative displacement pump, it moves the same amount of water regardless of back pressure. Therefore, it does not matter if the pump is running and the shower head is closed with a check valve, the water has somewhere to go, and the weakest point will fail (leak). The sealing gasket, the hose, or the pump diaphragm may need to be replaced. As a result of an explosion, shrapnel from the shower head directly upstream of the valve may be able to cause serious injury if it is instantly struck by the flailing hose, particularly if it is fitted with a metal ferrule or fitting. It is reasonable for the manufacturer to assume that the switch on the pump would be within reach during use, given the hose to the shower head is only 6". Long enough to measure 5'. It would be costly, inefficient, and introduce reliability issues in the shower head. The electrical switch, a cable that ran the length of the hose and was stiffened with armour to prove its durability, and two cable glands (seals) would be required. A sensor is located in the pump housing and a sensor is located

When an emergency arises, the product works as described
5/5

The constant refrain of "Love it!" bores me to tears. The reviews of the book. This is the review that I wish I had read before I bought the product.

It is a very good product and does what it says it will do. Compared with other camp showers, the photo shows the difference in the number of water holes in the shower head. It comes with a hook to hang the shower head, but the hose is too long for me because the pump part must stick in the bucket if the bucket is on the ground. Other than the short hose, I am very satisfied with the shower. The product is pleasing to the eye and I recommend it to family and friends. The short version of the story is that. We will provide a detailed review in the following paragraphs. The following story is for those who value highly detailed reviews of products It's been a year since I bought this portable shower product for car camping, which I practiced using. A week ago, I broke my ankle bones on both sides at home when I fell. Sure, this is very disappointing, isn't it? There isn't a shower or tub in my downstairs and since the ankle dressing should not come in contact with water I really wanted to take a shower. My dressing was protected by a big bag that I had cleaned and cleaned then I used the Ivation Portable Outdoor Shower to take my The thoughts expressed here are based on my experience of the portable shower in the real world. During this time, a family member was standing by to provide standby assistance. A commode chair was placed on top of two towels I threw on the floor and the standby person threw them. A large plastic basin became the new home for the uninsured foot. The additional towels that I had purchased on Amazon were The Dr. Bonner peppermint soap can be purchased from Amazon in several scents and unscented, and I used a few drops of that as well. There was water in the bathroom sink and a little bit of liquid soap from Dr. Bonner. As I showered I made a lot of water messes. The towel barrier kept very little water from getting outside it. Listed below are some things 1. The hose was long enough to reach the place where I wanted it to. The water had to bend for me to reach my hair, as I am approximately 5'7". In spite of being out of the water, the hose still has water inside. With the water basin and faucet at waist height, it was great to be able to wash my hair with the hose while standing. If you are tall, you should raise the basin for any use. There are two ways to charge it either a laptop, or to use an outdoor device that has USB ports. The device was not charged for more than a year, and the shower did not lose strength. 3) The water can be stopped by kinking the hose or folding it to stop the flow. Unless the pump at the bottom is submerged in water, there will be no flow of water. In order to fold the hose, we needed two hands. Thick and strong, this hose is perfect for outdoor use. In addition, the on-off switch for the pump is located on the opposite side of the USB plus and is simple to use. Upon the switch is a cap made of strong plastic. It is necessary to remove the cap in order to view the push button. It is possible to take a full shower with just one gallon of water. After taking a shower and washing my hair, I used two gallons of water. It would have been more economical to use less water if I had been more efficient. There is a large number of shower holes in this shower, allowing it to be used as a system for both There is a better use of water with this method. When you begin, use very warm water, but don't let it scald as the water cools on its way out. It is best not to allow children and the elderly to use the shower until the water temperature has been checked. Common sense should be used. 1) For a camping trip - Bring a sleeping bag (2) A portable shower system like this would be a good choice. If suitable, a black bag may be used to cover the water so that solar energy will heat it or water can be obtained from a campfire. Water that is hot should be used with caution. Adding extra weight to backpacking may not be a good idea. A big shower can bring the family outdoors and make them happy campers, so it is worth the weight if it gets the family outside. A shower device may prove useful in emergency medical situations, natural disasters, building and construction sites and in power outages and natural disasters. My device has been in storage for almost a year now, and I'm not sure how long it holds a charge for, but I can say that once I charged it, it held that charge well. As long as you use a biodegradable biologically neutral soap, such as soapseed, when standing in the basin during a shower, the water can be poured out in a specific place without harming the environment. The soaps for sale on Amazon are handmade. My device was examined by Dr. Bonner, so I do not know if they will hurt it. It is slippery when it comes to oils. It is not a good idea to use oils in the water and I do not recommend it. Oils, lotions and creams should be used after taking a shower, and socks should be untucked so the lotions and oils are absorbed by Be careful not to This pump incorporates an on/off switch and a USB port for charging. It goes right into the water.

But I did not like three things
1) The whole There will be a point at which water will enter the component and cause it to cease A longer warranty or reconsidering everything underwater is what I think the manufacturer needs to do. There is nothing troublesome about this device except the on/off switch which is hidden under a gray cap. It is very difficult to reach down into the water to touch the switch each time you need to stop the device to soap yourself are no other options than to reach down into the water and turn off the heater or kink the hose to stop the water flow. Though the entire device appears sleek, there is a price to pay The grey cap must be removed in order to turn on or off the device. To turn off the device, bending is necessary and water will fly everywhere and one will have to balance on one foot, reaching into the clean water while trying to turn off the device. It would appear that the grey cap does not create a water seal around the on/off switch, that may cause confusion for some My first exposure to this device was on the YouTube channel It is worth your time to watch the video on comparing outdoor showering devices on that channel. Thanks for reading this review. If it was helpful, please take a moment to It helps me improve my writing when people vote for me. The brother of one of my children told me that "nobody reads long reviews. ". In his opinion, people want to know if the product is working right away. It makes me happy to show him the helpful vote numbers add up because it allows him to observe whether you read all the way Rather than looking at only the star rating, I encourage him to spend time reading the actual reviews in order to reduce the amount of returns and exchanges Consumers find out what they are buying through reviews, so they are satisfied with the purchase.

I read it and enjoyed Despite this, however
3/5

During two camping trips, we used the Portable Shower, and it was wonderful. On the third trip, however, I was unable to use the shower because the receiver thread for both the shower hose and head came loose when I tried to screw it in. When I called Invation's Customer Support, they told me to email info@myivation. com, and I did. You can also include pictures with your essay It was done by me The past two weeks have seen it happen twice. No response was received either time. Needless to say, we were very disappointed given how much we enjoyed the shower. Since I don't intend to spend the money on replacing it, as well as being disappointed in the lack of response, I'm giving up on it. I am originally from Kent, but living in Bakersfield, California Currently.

An explosion caused by a violent battery There is danger
3/5

I would advise you not to purchase! What's going on here. We have decreased the volume in our house. Among the 3 pictures from our security camera that I am attaching, I have a "before explosion photo". There is not much orange in the picture, but you can see a brief glimpse in the bottom middle. A portable shower is one like that. My phone is charging now thanks to a plug. I have included two images that show the explosion as it happened. I thankfully did not have to deal with any fires. I would not recommend buying this product. This is not a safe situation!.

The customer "lack of service" department stinks, but the product is good
3/5

It uses a good amount of power, holds a charge, and has a constant flow Please don't lose the charging cord between the living room and the upstairs bathroom as I did with my son, 16 years old. I've been on a fool's errand trying to get a response from Ivation regarding a replacement cord since December 5. I) cashed the card, then was told to submit an email. A done deal. They will check the warehouse and get back to me once they have the results. 2) I sent you an email on 12/8, as I haven't heard anything. *
3) 12/14 to 12/23 A recorded announcement explaining how important my call is took me 30 minutes to listen to A call was routed to an extension where the person on the other end of the line was unavailable. I left a message, but did not hear back. The following dates are the deadlines for projects 12/15-12/19 After I called again, I experienced a live person who dropped the call when the "check" on my request was complete. When I called back, I was told they were "really busy this time of year" and that's why no one has contacted me back. I asked the supervisor to look into it, and he said he would respond by the end of the It would have been my fault if I had specified what day it was at the end of. The following days are 12/17-12/23 No response to my email yet. The entire experience in trying to deal with a company like this is completely frustrating. Caveat emptor, my friends!.

The work is pretty good, but you will need a good charger
4/5

One of my concerns after using the product for a month is listed below. There are no significant complaints about the product. Please note - It has been almost two months since I began using it and I have three-minute showers every day In light of that usage, the battery charge lasts for an impressive three Please note - Several important details are left out of the manual since it is difficult to read two hours to charge the battery. The blue light begins red and gradually fades to red as the battery charges. As the charger is being charged, the wall power consumption starts out at 16 watts but reduces to 8 watts, at which point the product disconnects from the charger on a *50% duty cycle (most likely for safety purposes). It is designed well). (
My USB needs to be 5 volts and have two pins) As a result of being slightly overloaded, the charger becomes uncomfortably hot while it is charging. NOTE A major caveat is that It is not recommended that you charge this product from your computer's USB port, or else it may be damaged. There is an inordinate amount of peak charging current at 5 volts, so I would recommend a charger/power supply that can deliver no less than 20 watts (4 amps) of power. There is no requirement for USB ports to support more than 1, which is the standard continuous power draw specification. I would suggest using 7 amps (5). This product contains five watts of power. I FEEL THIS PRODUCT WAS NOT INTENDED TO BE USED AS A USB CHARGER -- There are a number of power supply bricks that can be equipped with the connector on the shower head end of the system.
