Additionally, I am searching for a battery powered shower that has an on switch It's much better to have the off switch on or near the shower head than in the usual idiotic designs that have it down on the pump or the battery. I bought it just in time for a week-long camp trip in Northern California after having endless frustration trying to use our old gravity-fed With two quick showers, we were able to get good use out of it due to the battery charge. In the shower tent, we kept a five gallon bucket filled with water (our old solar shower was used to fill the bucket one day). On/off switches are both reliable and frustrating, but they also add to a clean design. It is built into the battery pack and clips to the shower hose so that it is not submerged in water like other models. There is a frustration with the switch, since it points down toward the water, and it takes a pretty good push to get it to click. In your instinct, you'd put your forefinger on the switch and brace it with your thumb, but you find that the other side, where you might put your thumb, is rounded and that you can't get hold, especially when your hands are wet and soapy. The water runs through both hands, one of them holding the shower head, or the water is simply left running and precious warm water is wasted. There would be a solution to this if the backside was flat. I am also slightly annoyed by the hook that has the shower head attached. We had a problem with the shower tent because it simply points into the air and cannot be aimed. This causes you to hold the shower head with one hand, which isn't a huge problem, but those two things take one star away from it. A suction cup allows you to attach it directly to the window of your car I could see how that would be useful, but I don't think we tried it. Water pressure and volume are impressive! The shower has nice spray patterns and the water flow is good. Battery life is also impressive, as you don't even have to charge it and you can use it for almost a week without needing to charge it. I think that the addition to our camp is very impressive!.
In the past I've thought about an outdoor shower powered by LP gas (more expensive and more trouble to set up), but I decided to try this one This new model appears to be easier to handle due to the fact that the battery pack hangs OUTSIDE the water source. Easily charge the separate battery pack the night before (using a USB cable). The black 5-point form is filled out Set a bucket of water on the deck and fill it with water. We had to add cold water to the bucket when we finished swim time because the water was way too warm. There were three children and three adults who were able to be completely rinsed The result is a win for all Vous avez won! One caveat to keep in mind is that the water in the bucket drains pretty fast, so I think the shower wouldn't be long or leisurely. ), lathering up, and This can be done with plenty of warm water. (Note that Having not tried the bidet nozzle included with the kit, we can't provide an accurate evaluation of how quickly the water dispenses. *) One Wish! In order to keep my battery pack charged and operational, I could purchase an extra battery pack Unfortunately, the shop does not have one in stock.
You know, the kind you crack the plastic on if you screw it on too tightly. When two uses of the pump were complete, the pump stopped working The battery was charged, but I wasn't sure. I don't know. What a mess!.
It does suck up water quickly so you have to turn off the shower while you are It was possible for me to shower with In the rinse cycle, she was fast but not so fast in the 5 gal) bucket. The ideal amount of water would probably be a 5 gallon bucket. Its pump/shower head produces an adequate amount of water pressure for a camp environment. There was a short cable from the pump to the switch that took 1 star away from the rating. A couple of inches on the ground outside the bucket of water is all you need. I would have preferred to have it at least 6 feet long, so it wasn't too heavy to hang up and use standing up. The switch would also remain dry by keeping water away from it. It is important to note that there is an exception Water does not get inside the switch housing, so if water gets there where the rechargeable battery is located, the entire shower will stop working. In order to keep it dry, I keep it in a small zip lock bag. There is also a kink in the tube connecting the shower head to the pump, but it is only about one foot long. In the mesh bag I used for other camping gear, the whole kit packs down to a very small size.
Perfect. Just as we had hoped. I plan to take a shower and do dishes at a boondocking site. Our overland rig is powered by a USB 12volt system so we chose this one to test. You might like to re-post this It is powered by batteries that can be charged and can be used outside or wherever is A good option to add to an existing system because it has enough flow, seems sturdy, and the optional head is As described.
Works as expected. *Arranged for quick shipping. I am happy with the quality and performance of the product. There is a possibility we will need a second one as a backup I found the price to be great.
Recently, I bought this shower so I could use it while camping. Using the shower for the first time was easy and charging it was simple. Once the battery was charged, I placed the suction end in a bucket of water and then held the nozzle to spray water (although the battery is waterproof, it shouldn't be used in I was amazed at how good the pressure was for such a small pump and how steady the water flow was. The power supply lasted for a good three showers after I last recharged it, so I can't say for how long the battery lasts between charges. This purchase has been a pleasant experience for me.
I like the flow of the water. External battery packs can occasionally be difficult to turn off during a shower because they are large and bulky. It's possible to get clean with only 3 gallons of water, if I turn on, shampoo, turn off, turn on rinse, turn off, turn on rinse, etc. But it's a little inconvenient when you're wet. There is no better way to prepare for a shower than to have access to one. In the future, I will be using two five gallon buckets so I have a little leeway if I need more time and do not want to feel pressed for time. 5 gallons is plenty if you just want to wash off from the.
