Questions & Answers

How effective would this be on a sunny winter day? be taken inside, but is not a great way to warm the water up. ?

It took me all morning and afternoon to get the water to 100 degrees, and I only used it once or twice during the summer. During the winter, I don't think it would work properly. It would be best if you invested in a camp stove -- the more Btu/hr the better -- and heated your bath water on that, or learn to enjoy being dirty

Can you tell me the total length of the shower head and the hose for this product? (Measured directly from the handle to the end of the shower head)?

It measures about 4 ft6 from the handle to the end of the shower hose, but I cannot actually measure it at this time. The height of the basket made it easy enough for me (5'2") to use, but my husband (6') would have to bend down to get it off the ground. Great for showers, holds a decent amount of water for a decent shower experience.

When the 3 gallons are empty, how many ounces weigh each gallon? We would appreciate it if you weighed your answer. ?

Removed the mirror I did not want it. In its empty state, the mirror weighs 12 ounces.

a switch for turning it on and off?

It isn't possible to turn it on or off.

The size and quality of the product are good
4/5

The old 5 gallon was too heavy when full to lift, so I'm pleased to have a bigger one. There is a temperature gauge that is fun to use and the shower tube has a nice Slide shower nozzles are as hard to operate as any brand I have owned. With soapy hands, my hands had a hard time turning the shower on and off. As a result, I installed a QVS 003307 Push Button Straight Shut-Off I got the shower hose from a local hardware store, got a couple fittings for the shower head to slide onto, and voila, a nice You can turn it on or off by pushing the button.

The update is A handy way to heat water with solar power After researching the best way to replace aged made-to-order - I got 104' in 3 hours - and bought 2 of them
5/5

A solar shower in the USA from the 1990s. The Advanced Elements 5-software has been very helpful to me The 3 gallon model was in place of the 5 gallon model, and I wanted to move it to another We've been happy with their performance. Below you will find my review, as well as my temperature I've measured the thickness of the vinyl as being about the same as an inflatable kiddie tube. Remember we are talking about a vinyl bag with a spout and hose here. Build quality is good, but overall the bag looks rather cheap. Each of these weighs 24 pounds full at 8 pounds per gallon of water. They will still heat whatever you put in them even if you don't fill them up all the way. In the manufacturer's instructions it states not to use them for drinking water, so I'll heed that advice. In reality, there are not a lot of choices in solar showers right now, most of them I see that all of the brands are now produced in China. Owning an older USA-style toy is a great way to learn more Due to the thin and flimsy material of original bags, the current ones will feel like solar showers As a result, Advanced Elements is the best brand currently on the market. A majority of people will opt for one of the three There is a 5-gallon and a gallon You must consider both the size of the water and the costs associated with a solar shower. A FIRST DAY TEST CAN BE DONE TO THE FOLLOWING A couple of these were out on the patio under direct Florida sun in March, from 3 to 530 p. m. The hours are from 300 PM to 500 PM There are 45 minutes left in the evening. Using the cold water faucet in the kitchen, I filled them up with tap water. There is a temperature of 74 degrees outside. In paragraph five, take note of the following. The temperature gauges operated in 6' increments. After two hours and 45 minutes of full exposure, one gauge read 104' and the other read 98' (the temp gauges go up and down). water content in the bag that read 98' resulted in the bag not heating up as fast. As I tried spraying over my hands several times, I found the water temperature to be subjectively comfortable, but not quite spa-like warm. Neither of the bags felt like it was 74° F outside. Nevertheless, I would have liked them to be a few degrees hotter than they were in Test 45.

I like the rubberized top handle that the bags hang by, as it has a clasp lock that unlocks to facilitate hanging & how it has a clasp lock that allows it to be moved. Removing the hook. A small plastic mirror connected by a tether cord is located in the mesh pocket on the front. THESE ARE THE RESULTS OF THE SECOND On a sunny Florida day 3 days after the first test above, I opened two of the same bags and filled them with cold water from the kitchen faucet, letting them stand for 3 hours Midnight in the middle of the day Today is Wednesday. In terms of air temperature, it was 78', which is a warmer day than the first time. This time the temperatures reached 104' and 110'. There was an overall trend for one bag to be a little less full than the other, and the less full bag to get warmer than the more full bag every time. 104' and 110' are both very pleasant shower temps, in my opinion. As a reference, once you get to 104 degrees, that's about the temperature most public gyms set their hot tubs to. It makes all the difference to spend more time on it. In addition to that, all day long there was- When they are exposed to a lot of light, they will become very Unless these are kept in direct sunlight for 6 hours or more, they can become too hot for me personally.

Once these are kept out of direct sunlight, they will begin to lose their heat. It is therefore crucial that you use them as soon as they are They will retain heat longer if you cover them in towels, blankets, etc. (evening dishwashing, perhaps? )
There appears to be a minimum of three The space heater takes at least that long to get to an appropriate temperature, so plan ahead accordingly. I've used these a few dozen times now and so far they are holding up just fine. I haven't treated them roughly because they are not designed for that. It is hard on plastics to hold up to sunlight for a long period of time, so I can't speak to the durability over time. It's a pleasure to have these and I'm glad I purchased In a 5 gallon model, the weight is 40 lbs full. It takes at least 20-# of gasoline to fill Heating these 3 gallon bags takes 25% longer than heating these 1 gallon I can attest that they do work - When the sun heats the water, it gets hot - It is easy to see why they are #1 in the category on Amazon. Products made by AE are clearly more top of the line than those made by competitors. They are mainly black plastic bags that are really flimsy. I have used these AEs and they work well and are currently the best solar showers on the market right now based on my experience. Observe, however, that you need to be patient and shop around because these have fluctuated between $32 and $19. AE 5 is another option you may want to look into There was a 5-gallon model (listed separately) and a 10-gallon model 80-gallon model (which, at 80 pounds, is not such a convenient size for transporting, but might come in handy on a sailboat, in a cabin, while camping, Thank you for reading. I hope this helps. We wish you all a happy showering and a happy trail.

This water bag made a great water bag for singing in the shower
5/5

Since I started using a 2, I've been pretty happy with it Since I began going camping, I have used a solar shower bag that holds a gallon. I bought it in the second size since I only had two choices at the time. A 5 gallon and a 5 gallon container is provided. Here are five things you should know Two gallon bags are almost too heavy to lift when they are full, and one bag is almost too heavy to move. I couldn't take a quick shower because of the lack of water in gallon. I noticed this 3-D design as soon as I spotted it The amazon. com gallon bag caught my attention right away, and I immediately ordered one. It worked great the first time I used it, and the second time I used it, it was just perfect three gallons provides plenty of water for a shower without running out anytime The weight difference between the 3 and 2 is not that great. This bag holds 5 bags. I like the built-in thermometer in the bag, and the bag is sturdy and doesn't leak. There is no doubt about this bag's quality.

This shower bag is made from high-quality materials for a long-lasting use! After camping for five weeks and not being able to rely on campground amenities, I was extremely glad that I chose to buy the Advanced Elements Summer Solar Shower
4/5

As I had read reviews for other shower bags and thought I had purchased a shower tent, I purchased what I thought was such a bag. It had the material looked durable, the back of the bag was see-through (water levels visible), for hanging up the shower hose, an opening and closing shower hose valve, a small pouch convenient to use, and the top strap (for hanging on closed loops) worked well. We purchased the 3lb version since it was an easier way to calculate the water usage of each shower (each shower used about 2 gallons The weight of 3 lbs We had problems using the solar panels, which is the only reason for my rating of 4/5 stars. There isn't really an issue with the product's solar panels per se, rather it is a matter As soon as we left the water out to warm up, squirrels would approach it, creating habitats for them (beware of squirrel related matters, such as fleas, ticks and ripping open bags [all issues we face]).

I was impressed with the results
5/5

In any case. Never before have I been able to experience a solar shower. Having bought it for a 3 day camping trip, I realized I had incomplete my life! I used it for hand washing. I was impressed with the results. The true value of it emerged when I hung it in my garden after I got home. The hose does not require that I bring my dirty shoes inside. So I do not have to clean them when I am dirty, sweaty, or just hot. My favorite part of showering outdoors is the fresh air! It will be nice to have another one since my husband is using it as well. Since we live in the country, I should already have done this a long time ago.

It is great to have a shower bag while camping! In the past two summers, my wife and I have used this solar shower on cross country trips in our boon docker camper van
4/5

There is nothing more effective than not taking a shower at all. This is a small device that saves time and money. When it comes to heating water with the sun This process takes several hours, and a cold shower is given to the second individual if there are two users. In our case, it was just a matter of heating up a quart of water on the Coleman stove for a couple A pole was usually placed between the open clam shell doors on the back of the van to hang the bags. The bag was hoisted up to the height desired by tying a cord to a rock, tightening it around a tree branch, and extending it. An improvement that could be made to the bag is to add some type of grip to the clear tube near the shower head, since once soap has been applied to your hands, it is relatively difficult to grasp the head during closing. With a rubber handle bar grip on the bicycle, I was able to operate the bicycle safely. In summary, it is a really.
