Questions & Answers
Citronella does not act as a mosquito repellent. Instead, its scent is meant to mask your own, preventing mosquitoes from swarming you.
No, they're not suitable for indoor use... if inhaled, they can be harmful to the lungs...
I'm not sure if they're always covered afterward, but if they are, use them.
The only good thing about it was the smell, I thought to myself.

Off is a bug-repellent brand that I purchased right away when I saw the name. When they arrived, I was surprised to see that they did not repel mosquitos, which was clearly stated on the box. What good is a citronella candle if it doesn't keep mosquitoes at bay?.
These are made by OFF, which is synonymous with mosquito repellent, and I bought them to help repel mosquitoes in our backyard. Unfortunately, until it arrived, I did not notice the small print on the box stating that it is not for mosquito repelling. What? I literally just squandered my money on stinky candles that don't do the job I paid for. Make a financial plan.
Take another path. These things don't work at all, and I'd go so far as to say that the distance that they cover for repelling bugs is false advertising. br>br>We've tried up to three at a time, directly underneath us, and we still get bitten by mosquitoes, flies, and gnats.
" What? br>br>False advertising and exorbitant pricing.
I assumed it was a bug repellant because it was from OFF and stated citronella. Not so. It's just citronella with a scent. I'm not sure why anyone would want citronella that is scented. My money was refunded after I complained to Amazon. Not a bug repellant candle, should be written in large letters on the product's web page and box.
I've purchased larger, more expensive candles in the past, but these ones perform admirably. In the summer, I've had a couple of years of major mosquito bites, including the small ones that are difficult to see. The bug zapper didn't even manage to kill the mosquitoes, but having the candles lit appears to be keeping them at bay. The candle itself is attractive, and the scent is not overpowering. In addition, the burn time was longer than anticipated.
"Perfect mosquito candle for the backyard," according to the description. THE BOX, ON THE OTHER HAND, STATES, "This product is not intended to repel mosquitoes. ".
I was directed to this product after searching "off citronella candles outdoor mosquito repellent," and was once again duped by high reviews, trusting a brand name, and the Amazon's Choice seal, which is the kiss of death. This is a waste of time. A new wicker outdoor couch, chairs, and coffee table were purchased. I took them outside, and the candles had melted and spilled outside the tin container after only an hour in the sun. All of the wax melted and stained the river rock patio surface, as well as the new wicker coffee table. Then I went back to the package, which stated that it does not repel mosquitos. The money was refunded by Amazon.
