Questions & Answers

Wouldn't it be more practical to drop a couple of dollars in a bush instead of using this product?

You don't seem to be trolling anyone, so I'm going to ask you Burial of poop is driven by two basic reasons Besides being disgusting and unhealthy, human poop is unique in terms of its toxicity. This is not the same as animal feces. Whatever may be present in the poop of humans, be it parasites or worms, or just different bacteria, should be addressed. When a strain of E. coli comes from your body, it can live and grow inside you very effectively. It is possible therefore to cause fatal diseases even in tiny amounts The number of gut-wrenching diseases is staggering Diarrhea is one of the most common symptoms. Poop has caused millions of deaths over the course of human history because it has not been disposed of properly It is likely to be hundreds of billions of dollars. A death is a death, especially one that occurs to a baby. Our current civilization has learned to dispose of poop in a way that does not get tracked all over and does not get into the water supply. When you poop outside, you need to dig a hole that's 6 to 8 inches deep and involve using a trowel which, realistically, is In most soils (but especially in mountains), making a deep enough hole with only your hands or with rocks, sticks, tent stakes or trekking poles is absurdly, almost comically difficult. there is disgust. People expect that when they go outside, they have not made the place smell, they have at least respect for the outdoors and other people to maintain that their poop has not been left in the open for everyone to see. People who find out that someone has done that need to be prepared for a lot of disgust and rage directed at them. We're dealing with a serious issue As a result, it's viewed as a monumentally ignorant and disgusting act, a giant FU to anyone who is out there enjoying

Do you think it is ok to carry it ?

It is true the two tandems #1 and #2 have flown in a cargo flight I was able to carry on luggage without issues. It will be fine to use the #3 as well Since it isn't sharp and can't serve as a weapon, it cannot serve that purpose Because it is over 7 inches long, we need to verify it.

The second that you need a trowel for a #2 is something I never considered, figured it would soak into the ground as it was a #1. What is a #3? I have no idea what it is. ?

There is a difference in weight per shovel for each size of shovel, so each size has a different weight. A second consideration In number one, there is no need for a hole for the urine, however, you need to be at least 50 feet away from a You should also get off the trail like a girl, if you are a guy. Another hiker is likely to run into you if you are standing on the trail with your stuff in hand.

Can the hole measurement guide be found on all What is the location of the ?

In order to measure the depth of the hole, the trowel is the full length as follows Item #1 In the five-inch range, I'm moving 8", It is 8". From there, it's very simple to determine if a little more or less depth is needed.

The best product on the market is Our lightweight, affordable, & effective products are ultralight, durable, and affordable
5/5

With the Deuce(R) Ultralight Backpacking Potty Trowel (Size #1) you have an ultralight backpacking trowel that is perfect for outdoor adventures. Compared to other titanium trowels on the market, this is just as light or even lighter. In spite of it being thin, it is very effective at penetrating moderately hard dirt. Based on its shape, it is durable enough to do the job (provided you use it according to the directions). Digging with the handle facing down definitely allows it to penetrate harder soil better. You won't become as comfortable with this as you would with a proper trowel with an The purpose of it isn't to do that. Compared to a walking stick or trekking pole, it is much easier to use, and it is as effective as any other "backpacking"/ultralight trowel I've used in the past. ), weighs less, costs less, and works just as well as any competitor. Is there anything I do not like about this kind of uber-fancy design? Not that much, I am afraid. The design is thin and metal. It is not It's moderately uncomfortable to press hard on the handle (or worse, on the pointed tip when digging with it inverted). In spite of that, unless you're in a hurry, it's not outright painful and the thin edges penetrate compact soil and in addition small to medium roots quite well. It is of course preferable to dig in soil that is relatively loose and has few roots, as this will make it much easier to dig with a trowel of any kind, but especially these minimalist ones. Who am I? What makes me happy? There is no way for it to fit The one I have is tucked next to a roll of toilet paper inside a 5L Seamless storage container Bringing comfort and convenience to the summit with an It is almost impossible to recognize that it is there because the curved shape disappears within the round toilet roll. Although the metal is thin, its edges are not sharp enough for me to be worried about it piercing or wearing through a My favorite part is that it works well. Out of sight and out of mind when you don't need it, but there when you need it. There are a few things I want to add. Considering the value, performance, weight, and style, it is the best minimalist trowel you can buy on the market right now. It's not that difficult to use a minimalist trowel if you know it's always a bit of a trade-off ergonomically (and don't expect it to do more than dig a cat-hole Use it for relieving yourself, or maybe to move hot coals around a small fire) this is the one for you!.

The doo digger is a small, light and efficient machine
5/5

Just recently, I returned from a backpacking trip in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, for which I bought this item. Therefore, this is an entirely new review. (FYI, I ordered the smallest size. If you need a bigger size, consider it! )

I love the small size and the It would be great if I were able to do it again If I were you, I would pick one that was a bit The picture makes it appear much bigger than it really is. (I do not feel that returning it would be worth the trouble. first received the trowel, I was a bit unsure it would hold up when You'll be able to see its thinness! I was surprised to find that this doo digger worked great! There's no doubt that its robustness and efficiency are impressive. The only complaint I have with it is that the thin edge cuts into the hand a bit when you grip it tightly and attack hard . . . (There is nothing to worry about! backpack works great for ultra light backpackers and it's actually the only backpack I've seen on the market that's It was not an issue because I was mindful of my grip. When this product evolves and the product engineers address thin edges, which are a potential problem for some, I hope that issue will be addressed. The F-1 is, in general, a strong and good product for what it is intended to do. My recommendation is to strongly consider it!.

With a weight of only 1 ounce, this lightweight, 8-inch device (#3) is a perfect choice for backpackers
4/5

This product does not require any assembly. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the thin metal handle bites into your hand when the ground is really hard. This is not comfortable at all. The only thing I object to is that. Apart from that, it really digs easily into most types of ground and makes working in catholes easy.

It is an excellent lightweight trowel that is exactly what is described
5/5

When it comes to its purpose, this thing is great. I wanted a thin, lightweight metal, and it was thin and lightweight. result, it can be a bit rough on the hands, but honestly, if you are having problems with that, you should be camping at a campground- Toilets and showers are shown in the sights. It is a metal thing, that is all, and the edges are smoothed, so you will not get cut off after using it. With this, you will not be able to easily dig into gravel and stone, which should come as no surprise if you are honest about what you expect. As a result of some of the bad reviews, I have pushed this product beyond my expectations to give it a thorough test. I can rely on it. As they say in the description, if you bend it the wrong way, you will break it. By looking closely at the images you can see how the metal was bent, and it was done in the wrong direction. These broken tools were clearly used improperly, and you can tell in the pictures which way the metal was bent. In my experience, I've never seen someone slam a plastic Solo cup under their hand and complain about how cheap it is. And yet that is what the bad reviewers are doing here.

I couldn't believe how small this thing is
4/5

The thing is SMALL! I haven't really heard much about durability, but I like the feel but can't speak for its durability. I have already noticed that some sort of improvised padding will need to be applied to the handle. Honestly, I think I could snap it in half easily if I squeezed it in my hand a few times. A flight to A is on its way. A new update is planned for the end of March.

This is a highly recommended book
5/5

The second of our two in a row. A few years ago, I purchased a 1. Since then, I have used it frequently. Trying to pack poop out of my kid while camping and hiking is easier than trying to do so. Now that she's old enough she can carry the one herself, and I bought the three to dig those more difficult Despite its lightness and durability, it's very solid. There are many types of grounds I have used it on. It has shown to be a better solution to use sticks and rocks instead of picking up an ax or crowbar in difficult terrain. We highly recommend this product. Depending on the depth of the hole and the distance to the water source, you will need to follow certain rules when digging a cat hole.

It has been approved for use with a cat hole
4/5

Duece(r) in size #3 was purchased by me. Despite that, it is still really I guess you want your backpack to be light and small when you're backpacking. During a field trip to the desert mountains of west Texas, I used this device. Since I knew how difficult it would be to dig my cat hole and that my deadline for this project would be in the early morning, I chose my cat hole site the evening before. Though it worked, it wasn't an easy task My guess is you wouldn't be able to dig a hole with the #1 or #2 size. It was tough enough with the largest size. I could imagine it might bend or break if one were to wait until the last minute and attempt to dig out of panic.
