I stand for about 8 to 10 hours a day, so I always choose a boot with width to accommodate my toes, but the shoe size appeared to be toe to fit.

These boots break in quickly. Diehards size 9 has been my go-to shoe. For the past 30 years, I've been number five, and I'm not going back. These boots are extremely high in quality and comfort. The size 10 I ordered fit perfectly, and the "one day" break-in period was very short. These boots have a great look and feel to them. These will be my go-to work boots from now until the end of time. now all my buddies are ordering rockroosters. I am a lawn guy in Florida, so I do a lot of walking every day. these will be my go-to work boots from now until the end of time. THE BEST FEET TOOLS IN THE WORLD! The value of a good pair of work boots cannot be overstated.
br>I work in construction and have been wearing these for the past two weeks while working 10-hour shifts five days a week. The boots have been mostly comfortable in the 100 hours I've had them on (though I still kick them off as soon as I can). As a result, they aren't any more comfortable than regular sneakers). However, I've noticed a couple threads that have begun to tear around the sole, as well as a noticeable scratch in the toe from kicking a piece of sheet metal by accident. Two things that I don't believe would have occurred if I had purchased more expensive boots. I don't think these boots will last very long, but I paid a low price for them, so I didn't expect them to. These boots will suffice if you're on a tight budget and only need something to get you by.
Very good product; I waited 4 days for it and it arrived exactly as I had hoped. Very well done. I'm getting ready to use some Tinberland for a project that I'm working on.
UPDATE! br> Without a doubt, these are the most comfortable boots I've ever owned! To begin, I'd like to point out that the sizes are clearly incorrect. (I just got my second pair today, and they fit perfectly because I went down a full size. ) br> I'll be wearing these boots for a year in December, and they're still going strong. I was a little hasty in my previous statement about their water resistance. I've spent hours in water up to my ankles and they've stayed dry; they're tough as nails! All of the seams, including the soles, are still intact. Given that I kick dirt with my toes on a daily basis, this is incredible. No other pair of boots has ever been able to withstand that kind of abuse. My only suggestion is to condition the leather on a regular basis. It's extremely beneficial, in my opinion. I would and have recommended these boots to anyone, whether they were for work or for dress. They are extremely comfortable (after a brief break-in period) and attractive. br> As I previously stated, I just received my second pair today because, while they have performed admirably, they are beginning to show their age! This time, I'm experimenting with steel toe boots, and I'll report back later.
! MEANINGLESS REVIEW FROM THE EARLY DAYS! br>This, I believe, is a case of "You Get What You Pay For. " They are not joking when they say to order a half size down. I usually wear a size ten. I'm a 5 standard width and usually have to go up in length to be comfortable, but I listened to the advice and went down a half size, which was still too small! Perhaps by a full size, as they are enormous! They might be ideal if you have wide feet. They aren't even "water resistant," let alone waterproof. I have a pair of boots with a similar design (soft toe, light brown, moc toe), including one that does not claim to be water resistant but is more so than these boots. The leather is clearly of lower quality, and it appears to be made of pleather. Considering the size issues, the boots are fairly comfortable; however, they do rub a little at the ankles, which should improve with time. Because this seller only has a small selection of sizes, I'm going to keep these to see how they break in and hold up, and I'll let you know when I find out.
Date of review: br> 30th of October, 2019. br>I've been meaning to write this review for over a month now, since I bought it: My foot is larger than average, so I wear a size 12 boot. I bought a size 12 shoe in a dark(er) brown color with a regular/soft toe. These boots fit perfectly, and I didn't have to wait for the typical 'break in' period that I am used to. I have Timberland, Red Wing, Ariat, and a few other 'big names,' and I don't notice a difference. Only time will tell at this point. br> However, everything has gone well thus far. br>I wish RockRooster sold dark brown boots with a steel toe. Steel toe is only available in the lighter/buck skin color at the time of ordering, according to my research. br>If these boots go to staves too soon, I'll have to change my mind. But for the time being, all I can think about is how I wish I had ordered them sooner. br>br>Uodate* (June 15, 2020)br>It's been 9 months since I bought it. These boots are still in good shape and show no signs of wear. br>If I had to do it all over again, I would buy this pair of shoes without a second thought.
This review is only three stars because I had high expectations for these shoes and am dissatisfied with how they fit. Now, before I bought this shoe, I read all of the reviews and concluded that the shoes would be too tight in the worst-case scenario. I say that because almost everyone said they either fit perfectly or went up a half size, despite the fact that I have a regular/narrow foot. My second toe is slightly longer than my big toe, so if my right foot fits comfortably in any shoe, I can be confident that my left foot will as well. The boot itself is of excellent quality, but I believe the sizing is incorrect. My size 11 appeared to be a size 12, and it fit perfectly. So, if you don't have time to exchange and return, go to your nearest store and buy boots.
I've got a week's worth of 10-minute meetings scheduled. Wearing these boots for 12 hours a day has left me pleasantly surprised. The boots are a little on the heavy side, but they're comfortable and get better with time. My feet have stayed dry and warm the entire time, and I would highly recommend them for the price, quality, and appearance. I am looking forward to continuing to put these boots through the daily work abuse.
