On it I tried to set up my camp stove, but it bowed, and that wasn't even with food or water in it, if you tried to cook anything you would probably smash if you allowed it to weather. Because it is so light, it can be easily blown away by a slight breeze. As long as your sole purpose is to make it lightweight, then go ahead. Just be sure you don't load it up with more than a few pounds.

If you are buying it for the money, then you cannot Little table with a light appearance. My 5 gallon water jug fits fine on the ground. I will sit my Coleman stove on top of it no problem. Your weight would not be ideal in the middle of the table. In the middle, it may bend, so it would be best to have it more towards the corner. Thankful I took advantage of the under $50 price when I purchased it. It would be impossible for me to spend $65 on this.

It would have been nice if the metal on the top were a little thicker. Thus, I believe it will work well for the purpose depicted in the picture as shown. We recommend not using this table for anything heavy, like a cooler or a cast iron oven. As there is more weight involved, I have a doubt regarding any of the Blackstone or Camp Chef griddles.
