If you're buying a large hammock, make sure the ceiling stud can support 500 pounds, and 400 pounds for small hammocks. It's a great alternative to a tent, sleeping pad, ground mat, swing, cradle, and more. If you want to put the camping hammock in a room, you can use a hammock stand.

Even though it's only been a few months, my family and the kids in the neighborhood have been abusing them quite a bit. They've held up well and have been well received by all. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> After a year, it's still fantastic.
This is just a plain rectangle of fabric that has been bunched and gathered at the ends. This means that the sides are higher and more disciplined than the center. When you're perpendicular to the ropes, you can't lay flat. "br>br>I'm guessing this reviewer hasn't used a hammock before. This is the ideal shape for a gathered skirt. end hammock, as well as the vast majority of camping hammocks on the market By simply laying at an angle in this style of hammock, you can lay perfectly flat. Over the years, I've owned a variety of hammocks, ranging from no-name brands to more well-known brands. ENO, for example, is a well-known brand, and this product is nearly identical in shape to every other open, gathered-style product. I've never seen a hammock like this before. br>br>As for my personal opinion on this product. br>br>I've only had this hammock for a few days, so I can't speak to its longevity, but it appears to be of good quality. Every seam is triple-stitched. Except for the hem along the edges of the side panels and where the pocket is attached (which is fine because those seams aren't particularly strong), everything is stitched. The fabric is a little thin compared to other hammocks I've owned, but it appears to be strong enough (and I'm a big guy). I've had a hammock rip catastrophically while camping, so I'm cautious. But it's not quite as bad as ripping a brand new hammock. In terms of comfort, it appears to be fine. br>br> It's a hammock, for those of you who don't know. There isn't much of a difference between them (at least until you get into the more expensive ones with features like double layers for inserting a pad). This one, on the other hand, is quite comfortable. It's wide enough to lay flat without your feet dangling off the side, which I've always thought of as a single-person hammock. Regardless of how they're advertised, this one is definitely large enough to accommodate two people (though I can't say how comfortably). br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased with this product, especially for the price; my only advice is to get some straps instead of relying on the ropes that come with it, and to pay close attention to the knots where the hammock is attached to the carabiners when you first set it up; the knots on mine were very loosely tied, with the rope more wrapped around the carabiners than knotted on itself. It only took a few minutes to dress and tighten the knots on each end of the hammock, but if I hadn't done so, I would have likely ended up sitting on the ground the first time I tried to get in. br>br>I'll update this review if I have any issues with this hammock, but so far it appears to be a fantastic value for the money.
This one is being returned. The rope attachment version is a waste of time. If you're going to buy this, spend an extra buck or two on one with straps. br>br>In general, I'm dissatisfied. Because of the way it was made and gathered, the sides are always higher than the center, and the sides curl up to form a cocoon around you. This necessitates sleeping in a banana-like position. (2) Exiting is a challenge. This is mostly related to the previous problem with the wrong shape, but it's extremely difficult to get out when your legs are forced higher than your butt because the sides are more taught than the middle. br>(3) It's too small. They describe it as a "double," implying that it can support two people. Due to the above issue with the wrong shape, it would feel like two bananas in one peel - Simply put, it's too small. br>br>I can't comment on durability because it's a matter of time. The above observations are based on my first use of the product. As a low-cost "picnic in the park" hammock that you already have - something about which you don't give a damn - For the price, this is adequate; however, if you're looking for a truly comfortable and versatile hammock, look elsewhere - This isn't what you're looking for.

It costs less than $20. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. The hammock is much lighter than the rope and carabiners! I purchased four Black Diamond carabiners, which were easily half the weight of two of their generic carabiners. The rope, hammock, and carabiners come in a variety of colors. br>br>I bought two hammocks in different colors. I took it with me on vacation. It was a success. Everything was well-made and pleasant to the touch. Then there's the possibility. It has a shaped stuff sack attached to it, but it couldn't be used to hold a beverage once it was set up. Perhaps a phone, a wallet, or some bear spray?.
It's something I've done at least 30 times. The ropes have a lot of tension in them. It's big enough for me and three small children to fit in. It's the ideal size for packing in a backpack. It's small and light, and everything fits neatly into the included bag. The fabric is extremely durable. I did get a small hole in it (about the size of a pinhead), but it doesn't appear to affect the use.

It was exactly as described, and it was a fantastic deal! Other hammocks I've seen at big box stores cost more and don't seem to be as sturdy. I adore our single hammock, which I keep in the bay window of a repurposed dining room. Every visitor who comes by enjoys it and takes a nap in it. We chose the single because the double would have been larger— but also longer— and would not hang as neatly (or at the height I prefer) indoors. br>br>I was also impressed by the fact that it was available for same-day delivery!.
