Tommy Bahama 5-Position Classic Lay Flat Folding Backpack Beach Chair

I was looking forward to this chair, but it was unfortunately not to be. Everyone I know who owns one raves about how much they enjoy it. Theirs are slightly different, with plastic arms rather than wood, indicating that they are a different model. That might be the issue, but I'm not sure. However, the first chair I received broke the first time I used it, leaving me stranded in the sand. I had it exchanged, but the first time I took the replacement to the beach, which was today, the arm was crooked and the chair position kept slipping. Most likely due to the crookedness of the arm. I'm extremely disappointed. Especially since I paid a lot more for the chair than the Costco retail price. They were simply sold out, so I went to Amazon to buy them. I wish I could go back in time and do it all over again. This is a terrible chair. I've tried it twice now and both times I've failed. I don't have the energy or the time to replace it once more. Simply put, the quality is poor. Were the ones that failed inspection sent to Amazon by Tommy Bahama? I was under the impression that their products would be of higher quality. And now that I've received two that don't work, I believe Amazon, not I, should be responsible for making things right. I require it more quickly than they can provide it. So I guess I'll put the broken chair in the garage and return to my Nautica chair, which I've had for the past three years.

Tommy Bahama's quality isn't what I'm used to. Today is the first time I've used the chair, and my initial impressions are that the fabric quality isn't as good as other chairs I've purchased in the past, and the seat fabric slides and crumples beneath you when sitting in the waves. This chair will not last the entire summer, in my opinion. br>The back storage pouch is cheap and flimsy, and the cooler is thin and I don't think it will last long. The cup holder is frayed, and I anticipate it being torn off by the weekend. br>It's hard for me to believe this is a Tommy Bahama chair, and I would never recommend it or buy it again. If you've ever owned a Tommy Bahama chair, this is a waste of money and you'll be disappointed.

Unfortunately, this chair turned out to be of VERY LOW QUALITY and NOT ORIGINAL. What a blunder I made! The stitching is shoddy, and the fabric is see-through. through. The head pillow is made of non-allergenic materials. It's detachable and dangles so far down that it obscures the clearly fake Tommy Bahama logo. It's difficult to slide in these chairs, which isn't the case with genuine Tommy Bahama furniture. I would not pay even $10 for this chair, much less $59. 99! I can't emphasize enough how poor this chair's quality is! You can avoid the hassle of having to return this item. Because this is what I was sent, I am enraged and frustrated right now. I decided to buy because I could only find navy blue chairs and wanted something more vibrant, but now I'm going to the store to get a navy blue AUTHENTIC chair. Ignore positive reviews from people who clearly don't know what Tommy Bahama is all about, or from company bots. DO NOT MAKE A PURCHASE!.

I had to return these because they were a gift for someone. The back of one chair was stained, and the wood on the arms had been scratched. The other had two different shades of wood for each arm, giving the impression that one of the arms had been replaced with a random type of wood! They would try to send these to me, which I was very upset about because the problems were obvious just by looking at each chair!.

until it was no longer the case. br>br>We are completely dissatisfied with this product, as both of our chairs broke after only a few hours of use on the second day. br>br>From behind me, the back of my chair kept sliding and falling. The frame bent, and not long after that, the piece connecting the chair's arm to the frame came loose, rendering the chair useless. My husband's chair's bottom frame completely bent and broke, leaving him seated in the sand. br>br>These were a complete waste of money. br>br>This isn't the first time Amazon has deceived us. I'm beginning to have doubts about the products they sell.

I weigh 230 pounds and stand 5'11". Because I'm a bigger guy, I always make sure to sit gently. I took this chair to the beach today for the first time, and I sat in it maybe three times before the legs gave way and I was laying flat on my back in the sand. To avoid this, I purchased a "higher end" chair with a greater weight capacity. I bought the same chair for my petite girlfriend, and she adores it. It's a nice chair, but anyone who weighs more than 200 pounds should avoid it.

Design for a low cost. The frame was broken after three uses. This is not the case with older Tommy Bahama chairs.

It seemed like the ideal beach chair to me. I 100% can now say that it is the worst beach chair ever after using it! I was sitting on the beach when it slammed me all the way down, jarring my back and causing severe pain (at first, I thought it was just my back), as well as terrifying me! I figured it might just be that it wasn't fully hooked into the groove, so I tried it again and got the same result. I thought I'd be fine, so I went for a bike ride and a walk along the boardwalk later. OMG, I couldn't move the next morning! My back, neck, and ribs hurt all over, as well as my hips and chest! I've never experienced anything like this before, and I can't believe the amount of pain I'm in! Isn't it true that this chair should be removed from the market? 'sbr>The worst and most dangerous to say the least! It wouldn't let me leave a review with 0 stars, so I had to give it a 1 just to get it on here.
