Questions & Answers

Replacement chair fabric can be purchased from where. What caused the fabric to tear so quickly after four years?

If you have any questions, I suggest visiting the manufacture's website. I have mine still in perfect shape, so I've never had to contact them.

In addition to the arms, what is the width of the chair?

In total the chair is 24 inches wide, and each arm measures just under 2 inches wide. I really enjoyed this chair last summer, and I look forward to using it again this year.

Can you tell me how high the arms are?

36" high is about how tall they are. We are both five years old, as are my daughter and son in law. It should be no longer than 5. We both find this chair to be extremely comfortable to sit in. With our feet on the ground and our arms rest comfortably in the armrests of the chair, we are doing nothing special. On the flip side, my son who I bought this top for is 6'1" and he is just as comfortable. Thanks for reading. I hope it's helpful.

(Between the inside edges of the armrests) What is the width of the seat pan? There is no way you can sit on this chair - it's for large people In the smallest amount of space possible, I need a wide screen. ?

Based on how tall my chair is, it is roughly 19-inches tall There should be a 1/2 " space between the armrests near the back of the seat and closer to 19-inch In the front, it measures 3/16". is just under 19" wide. It's a good size for a home theater seat.

It is quite sturdy, but a bit heavy, and a bit difficult to assemble
4/5

There are welded joints on the chair, which makes it very sturdy. As of yet, I haven't had the chance to test the fabric's durability, but it looks strong. Due to its metal construction and the fact that it collapses in only one direction, the chair is heavy and bulky. It can be a little challenging to assemble because there are back inserts to mount. It is possible to fold the chair with inserts in place, so you could put them in once and leave them in place, but the chair will then collapse taller after they are inserted. For the back inserts, I added some pictures to show how to mount them properly. It is easiest to insert the back while the chair is still collapsed, then pull it taut after insertion (I did this, which made assembly more difficult). Drag the chair taut while it is still assembled instead of pulling it taut before insertion. Take a look at the **Edit** In the images, there is a lot of text that is hard to read. My video basically illustrates both the right way to assemble the chair and the wrong way to assemble it. To pull it taut and mount the back is the wrong method. In order to open it correctly, it needs to be compressed slightly, put the back in, and then exposed.

It's built for people who are "plus size"! It is very difficult to find a patio chair or camping chair for a large person
5/5

After months of comparison shopping and rejecting an unbelievable number of camping chairs "designed for plus size" people, I finally settled on this model. The decision has been a great one for me. The only downside to both being tall and being overweight is that I weigh almost 300 pounds. My problem is that I have a hard time finding furniture that is the right height (so that I can sit down easily) and is sturdy enough to handle my weight without feeling like it is going to collapse at any time. A chair like this is extremely durable both in terms of its frame and its The seat is high enough, and the arms are just right. The chair is wide enough, and the seat is high enough. My favorite thing about it is that it's generally fun! My only complaint is that I have two things A couple of things bother me about it. First, the cushion at the base of the back/seat is cut at an angle, which feels a little strange. Second, when I go out to use it, I have to remove my child. "My" chair can be used by the law or their guests! The kids are going to have to buy their own for Christmas, then! You might as well have a couple extras on hand.

(I'll explain) But does it seem safe to go out in the sun? In terms of unfolding and setting up the chair, it is relatively simple
3/5

Although my large rear sags considerably when I have it seated, the chair is very strong. Seat height is at the level of an adult. In spite of that, I'm almost afraid to use it outdoors after reading the enclosed literature. In the caveats, the manufacturer warns that prolonged exposure to the sun can damage the seat and back parts. A splash of water on the chair could only wear away the protective finish on the metal parts. They also advise against folding and unfolding the chair when it is wet. Bushings are something they must have never heard of. Taking short cuts will result in the metal corroding if it is not dried completely. So, then I will have to take it out mainly on days with a lot of clouds and dry conditions. In spite of all this, I am pleased with the chair and do not regret it at all.

This is a very sturdy, well-made item! A fold up in a bag type camping chair was the most convenient for us
5/5

Although not cheap, they are worth the price. To test if we liked the director type chairs better, last camping season we bought two of them on a whim. This season, I decided we needed two additional chairs because no one wanted to use the old chairs. People complained that the stitching on the back of the chairs pulled loose and they could not be used. I looked at the less expensive chairs, but they had unstitching so sores on the backs. These chairs do not have the same material configuration on their backs, so if they seemed to pull out, it's not an issue The problem. All of the metal in these chairs is very strong. I liked the quality and thickness of the material. Despite being only 5' 2", as I am only 5 feet 2 inches tall, they sit a little lower to the ground than my other chairs. Although he is 6' 2", my husband found them to be very comfortable, and didn't mind that they were shorter compared to other seats. It's not so comfortable to sit around in our cheaper chairs since the back is stick straight, which works for sitting at a camp table, but not so great for just kicking back and relaxing. Since the back of these chairs tilts back slightly, I anticipate they will be a bit more comfortable. A reviewer mentioned that they are heavy, so it is not recommended to carry them a long distance. However, these types of chairs when folded are bulky and difficult to move, so I wouldn't recommend them. In any case, I wouldn't be carting around my cheap and light ones The chairs are a bit more expensive than some of the other chairs available on Amazon, but they are absolutely worth the money.

Wow! That's some sturdy stuff! To be able to take the chairs to events, we needed chairs we could throw in the car and take with us, but we did not want to risk the chairs breaking or not performing well on wet surfaces
5/5

It takes a beast to sit in these chairs! You need to be aware of their weight, so if you need something lighter, that's not for you. Despite the fact that they are so comfortable and strong that they won't have to be moved, I will consider lugging them around. As I am assuming one of the chairs was damaged in transit, I ordered two and they came at different times a few days apart. I got an email from Amazon that one of my shipments was being replaced. Amazon has been very helpful in communicating.
