That is a mistake. Stainless steel is used in their construction. There isn't a single shade of blue or green in this picture. Either a two-person or four-person set is available.
It comes with a mesh bag.
The color of the bag is the only thing that differs from that of the rest of the outfit.
I haven't used it in a hot situation.

Her utensils were heavier and sturdier, and the utensils were stamped with "Made in Taiwan. " I was ecstatic to order my set after having had so much experience with high-quality Taiwanese (and Japanese) stainless steel. My set, on the other hand, is unique and was made in China! The plate rims are a little different, and the items are a little lighter. I'm in a bad mood and considering returning these.
Indeed, the spoon's edges were razor-sharp to the touch, cutting her mouth in the corner when she tried to pull it out. It's very unfortunate and sad. As a result, we are unable to recommend or advise anyone to purchase this kit. Hopefully, the manufacturer will take notice of this and make the necessary changes for future customers.
Purchased in June in preparation for my son's upcoming freshman orientation trip. It is now too late to return. I haven't even attempted to use it yet! I bought ahead of time and only hand washed it two days ago before packing it up. When I looked at it today, I noticed that the plate had a lot of rust spots on it. I'm unable to consume food from a plate!.
This was purchased because it appeared to be a better deal than the other camping dinnerware we had seen. This was an excellent purchase for me. Because it's stainless steel, I was able to keep my cup of apple cider warm by placing it right on the edge of the grill near the fire. The plates are large enough to hold a foil dinner packet, and their bowl-like design helps to prevent spills and mess. We quickly removed the silverware from the carabiner, but it was useful for storage. I was concerned that the silverware would be too flimsy, but it was adequate, and the knife cut through the chicken with ease.
It appeared that everything was in excellent condition. There are no dings on the bag, and it is in good condition. I washed and dried them, then set them out to air dry overnight in case there was any water left. I put them in the bag and put them away the next morning. I took them out later that night to show my wife, and the bottoms of the bowls and plates had already developed rust spots. I'm undecided about returning them or attempting to remove the rust on my own. Very let down.
This is a high-quality camping set. At the time of my purchase, the set was light weight, well made, and reasonably priced ($18). br>br>However, for those who are unfamiliar with this type of cooking, a word of caution: It's not a good idea to put hot food or beverages into these while holding them! You will be chastised and your food will fall out because it is not insulated. While it sits, use gloves, a protective covering, or a ladle.
I bought the two-person set a few weeks ago and took it camping with me. Super nice set, very strong and sturdy, and incredibly simple to clean in a matter of seconds. Both adults and children will find the cups to be the perfect size. The silverware is fantastic (the knife is capable of slicing through regular meat). I would strongly advise anyone looking for a nice set to purchase this one. Every penny spent was well worth it. The carrying bag is also very nice, with the logo etched on it as well as on the set. The plates and bowels are large enough to accommodate soup, spaghetti, and meatballs with room to spare: ) This is a set that I adore. This will undoubtedly be with us for the next 20 years or so. This is what I got for my daughter and me when we went camping with the boy scouts:.
Is it better to use ceramic or metal? Plastic? Are you talking about stainless steel? I suppose there are advantages and disadvantages to everything, but I'm really glad I got these. They're easy to clean and travel with. At first, I was concerned that the plates would become too hot to handle, and I wondered aloud, "Why hadn't I thought of that?" " BUT! It's actually beneficial to have a warming plate because it keeps the food warm for longer. I didn't get too hot holding it, but I figured if it did, I'd just get a towel. Even so, we had a hot meal and hot beans on the plate and bowl, and it was comfortable to hold. In the morning, hot oatmeal stayed hotter for longer. It was 42 degrees outside, so having the three utensils on a carabiner was ideal for keeping them together! My family consists of three members, but there are only options for a one, two, or four-person set. Because the two-person sets were on backorder, I ordered three of the one-person sets (for just $7 more), and I'm glad I did because all three sets fit in one of the mesh bags, leaving me with two nice mesh bags in which to store other items. In one, I put the dish soap, sponges, and drying towels, while in the other, I put all of the headlamps, small tent lights, and batteries. Carrying this item is simple and reliable. The dinnerware, on the other hand, will last a lifetime! Yay! What a fantastic purchase!.
