Nope. TSA will gladly accept a serrated knife. If you're taking it with you, make sure it's in your checked luggage. I know this because I've been there.

While the concept is great for camping or military field operations, this product is child-sized and unusable. I tried using it once but was unsatisfied with the results. The visual appearance on the internet is deceiving.
We used these from my husband's camping kit to eat with when we didn't have running (or later potable) water and the power was out for all but 3-days. For a total of 10 days, we worked 4 non-consecutive hours per day in our area. Dishes were possible with the water we had collected in collapsible buckets, thanks to these and his Army-style "mess kits. " Even though the knife is small and the spork shrinks in size when cutting, a single one can easily be used for anything. Even though it's made of plastic, it's of Kabar caliber. We worked on whatever we could cook quickly on the stove or over a campfire.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but they're starting to feel a little shabby. Once I've put them to use and seen how they perform, I'll update this review.
They're perfect for packing in your lunchbox! Both the knife and the spork can be used to eat a wide range of foods. Both pieces fit together well, and when I throw them in the dishwasher, I simply pull them apart with the spork portion facing up and the knife portion facing down, and they're ready to use the next day.
When you're in a hurry, this is a great tool to have. Remove the knife section with care, as it has a razor-sharp edge. br>br>Instead of using one color, I recommend that the manufacturer use two. A different color for the upper half and a different color for the lower half to indicate where the knife portion separates.
These were purchased to add to my emergency supplies.
The length is adequate, and they are extremely durable, but the spork head is so small that it is barely usable. You'd be lucky if you got even one cornflake on them before it fell off. If I had to choose between using my fingers and using one of these, I think I'd choose the latter. But that's pretty much it.
