Selected User Reviews For ROCREEK 750/900ml Titanium Pot with Bail Handle
The weight of this pot is barely noticeable. The Rocreek handles are based on the StanDard construction except that Rocreek adds a nice finger groove at the bottom of the handles for added support (very handy when the There is no need to operate the bail as it stands on its own. Three-hole vented lid has an easy on and off mechanism. The handle of the lid will stay upright on its own as it is secured in place by a notch in the titanium strapping. A matte or uncoated gray finish is standard. The inside of the mil is marked with two sets of graduated markings Oz (8 oz, 12 oz has a notch, 16 oz) and Liters (200 has a notch, 300 ml, 400 ml, 500 ml). This construction is very robust and sturdy. This pot can be used for both boiling and cooking water. There is also a nice thick mesh bag that would make the perfect scrubber (one less item you have to bring). Nests a Nalgene stainless steel bottle of 38 ounces, and is snug enough to make charcloth.
This pot seems to be decent, but what I got doesn't have a handle, despite being advertised as having one.
The impression is very good. A tight fit is achieved with the lid! This lid fits so perfectly you can even flip it upside down and it will not fall out! Two hundred and seven grams of food fit easily. Fuel canister 75 and another slim item, such as a folding utensil, are among the slim items. It is not possible to fit a pocket rocket and fuel in this space.
It is the correct size for 3 cups- 2 cups for dry food for a mountain house I like how the bail handle is shaped! I've been seeking this information for quite some time. A 7 fits well in this. The 75 oz fuel canister fit perfectly, and a few paper towels on the side of it keep the fuel tightly in. I love the way the lid fits. Attached to the bag is a little pouch.
There is nothing to worry about with this pot. There are lots of small features that make it valuable. The bail is removable and will stand up on its own. Additionally, the lid handle will stay in place on its own, the lid is tightly vented, and it comes with a great carrying case. Those preparing dehydrated meals can use the pot because it is marked with inches and milliliters (Ounces and Milliliters). I will have no problem using this pot as it is light and simple to use.
The pot is very well built constructed it using this pot, Evernew tripod, Minitrangia windscreen as a pot stand, a Trekia simmer ring, and an optimus aluminum sheet windscreen that I cut down to size. This is a great very light water boiling set-up!.
Although the price is great, the 750 ml capacity is close to being ready to boil, as there is not much room to do this. I would say more like 500 ml of product.
I have no complaints about anything about it. I have also found that it nests perfectly inside a Toaks 550. The perfect translation.
