Questions & Answers

Is the metal easily scratched on the completely blacked-out version? When the metal finish begins to scratch, does it appear worn out?

Only the three loops near the bottom of my all-black version show signs of wear. I dragged them against a brick wall as I entered a building, and they scratched the black coating, revealing the shiny metal underneath. The rest of the equipment has been in excellent condition.

Is TSA going to be a problem with all the medals?

I travel a lot, both domestically and internationally. There will be no problems with TSA, but if they need to search your bag, you should probably 'assist' them in accessing the available compartments. Someone who has never done it before may find it inconvenient.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

This will support as much weight as you can carry, and it is extremely sturdy and well constructed. The only drawback is that it does not stand up on its own without bending forward, but otherwise it is a fantastic backpack.

I didn't get a sternum strap with the pack I got. Is this something that happens frequently?

There was a sternum strap on mine.

Seams are loose, and the picture is inaccurate
3/5

The bag is not depicted correctly in the picture. The backpack's front patch is made of rubber, there are no Oakley symbols inside, and there is stitching sticking out on the bottom of the bag when you open the box. I started to doubt the authenticity until I called Oakley and they confirmed that Amazon is a licensed dealer, but even so, I'm starting to doubt it. The previous Oakley Kitchen Sink I owned had the Oakley symbols on the inside of the bag, as well as a cloth Oakley patch on the front, as shown in the photo. I'm hoping that an Amazon associate will contact me at some point to talk about this. This was a $150 item, and I expected a perfect description when spending that much money on a backpack, especially since the seam was already loose right out of the packaging plastic.

I would strongly advise students who wish to bring everything with them to do so
4/5

I'm completely smitten with this bag.
Pros:
- It is completely dark.
- Tactical.
- Clip mounts are a popular choice.
- Each pocket can hold up to three plastic water bottles.
- Pockets have side straps.
- Backpacks are held closed by clamps. Hand detachment is simple. br>- Straps at the waist and across the chest. (Both of them are heavy-duty),br>- Handle is made of metal.
- The left strap has a small pocket where I keep my fidget cube.
- I could stand in the rain and not have any of my electronics get wet because of the bag's design.
- The front pouch remains accessible while strapped, which is convenient, and I don't have to zip it unless it begins to rain. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>NoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo This bag is fantastic! However, no bag is without flaws. br>- I keep my mouse in the top pocket (Protective media pocket). Very roomy and holds a lot of stuff, but if you forget to zip it up before opening the main "lid," all of your belongings will fall out due to gravity. Grumble. When I forget, my mouse, thumb sticks, and pencils all crash to the floor, it hurts me. I've grown accustomed to it, but it still happens now and then. br>br>- The front pocket and the rain pouch are two of the most useful features. Because the rain pouch shares space with the other pouches, I haven't used it yet. This one can pass because I don't need to store wet materials. The front pouch is still accessible while strapped, as I previously stated, but the problem is that pouches don't always keep everything in them. I honestly wish there were pockets where the pouches are, because pulling a pencil straight up is awkward, and I'd rather just reach in and grab it. Now is the time. br>br> The greatest disadvantage I have.
- "Versatile backpack with padded side-access sleeve for 17" laptop," according to the description. I tell you, I tell you, I tell you, I tell you, I tell you, I Okay, I'm not lying when I say that my laptop's nickname is "The Behemoth" and that she is THICK (Dell M4800). With a score of nearly one, At 15, the walls are 5 inches thick. She's a big momma, measuring 6 inches long and 10 inches wide. I take her with me wherever I go. I came across a 17-inch side-access sleeve. "Perfect! My laptop is only 15 inches!" I thought as I looked at the laptops. " Oh boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy, boy I CAN get the laptop out, but it's like pulling a spoiled brat from a candy store. As I force my laptop out of the side pocket, I cringe as I feel the zipper scratching against it. So, most of the time, I simply opt out and leave everything open. It would have been perfect if they had given me an extra half-inch. br>br>Conclusion: br>Would I buy this bag if I knew all of the advantages and disadvantages? YES, YES, YES YES YES YES YES YES DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH THIS THING CAN STORE? Not only that, but the waist and chest straps are so light that you barely notice them unless you're standing for a long time. br>Like I said, I put my 1. My books, Arduino boards, calculators, and my "Behemoth" of a computer (6. 5 inch binder) are all in there. 4 pounds! ), mouse(s), chargers, jackets, notebooks, waterbottles, and soda cans all in one load, and while it was heavy, it was manageable with this bag! br>br>If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words > I would strongly suggest it.

One man's opinion on the subject
4/5

So, after a week of using the kitchen sink, I'm writing this review. My initial impressions of the pack are as follows. br>br>First and foremost, I'm replacing a Swiss Gear 20L backpack with which I've traveled the world. This kitchen sink will literally fit the Swiss Gear pack. Which is ideal now that I have two children with whom I travel the globe. I purchased this kitchen sink primarily for the purpose of international travel. Now, I haven't done that yet, but I did use it as my daily pack for a week. My laptop, a novel, a journal, a 1000ml water bottle, several folders with business documents, and all the cords/gadgets a guy needs to survive a day in South Asia are the items I carry on a daily basis. Everything fits perfectly in the kitchen sink, with plenty of room to spare. The pack has a great appearance and is extremely comfortable to wear. It came in handy during a one-day motorcycle trip through the Himalayas. It was ideal for the job. What it lacks (or, more accurately, what I lack in my Swiss Gear pack) is the ability to organize this large backpack. The main compartment is divided by a large laptop sleeve, but that's all there is to it. I wish the main compartment had a divider to keep my books, journal, Kindle, and other items from shifting around so much. It's also possible that the smaller compartment in the front has been pre-programmed. There are molded sleeves for flashlights and cellphones, but after that it's just one big cavern of space, so small items like USBs, hand sanitizer, pencils, and other small items just move around. To keep everything in place, you'll need a few mesh or zip pouches. The side compartments are the same as the main compartment. It's enormous, but there's no way to organize it. br>br>In conclusion, the pack is fantastic. It appeals to me and I have no regrets about purchasing it. I'm sure it'll come in handy on those long, exhausting international flights. However, if you're looking for a daypack, keep in mind that your belongings won't fit in the large compartments and will be strewn about. Overall, this isn't a huge deal breaker. However, if you're looking for a Swiss Gear pack that's "tailored for business guys" and has a ton of organizational compartments, this isn't it.

Extremely long lasting. It has plenty of space and fits under the airplane seat. Has a large number of people behind you who are rooting for you.

A $49 backpack that costs three to four times as much! This bag was purchased for a trip to another country
3/5

This trip necessitated the use of a sturdy grab handle. At specific locations, you can become a carrier. (This bag did not accompany me on my journey)! Comfort is lacking due to a lack of quality. It lacked structural support and should have been marketed as a sports bag instead. Unfortunately, I did not have time to respond because I had to leave early the next morning. Now I have an expensive backpack that is overpriced and of poor quality: Original tags and packaging are still on the item. I do not recommend this product; it is a $49 backpack at best, and it is not worth anywhere near its original retail price of 225 dollars! REALLY?.
