These shoulder straps come with my large ALICE rucksack. Straps that go through rectangular guides and around the tops and sides of the ALICE frame secure the ALICE ruck to the ALICE frame. The ALICE frame could be attached to with the metal snap hooks on these straps, but you'd have to make something to attach them to. You can also attach an ALICE ruck to a MOLLE frame and buy MOLLE shoulder straps and even a MOLLE kidney pad and belt, which are much more substantial and padded than a stock ALICE pack, by lashing some paracord around the frame and attaching the shoulder straps to the paracord. The "Hellcat" modification is one of these. Simply type "ALICE MOLLE hellcat modification" into your search engine. " It's easy to figure out how to make things like these straps fit on an ALICE frame once you start reading about ALICE and MOLLE modifications. Duct tape and paracord work like magic. My rucks and frames are all black, so I use gaffer's tape. The FOLAI shoulder straps I received have stainless steel snap clips, which I believe are of good quality. The shoulder straps are of excellent quality.

I wanted to be able to ride my bike to the beach and transport my chair without having to spend a lot of money on a backpack chair.
What a difference it makes when I clip it to one of my Solo backpack sprayers. They're far nicer and more comfortable than the ones that came with the sprayer. I had no idea they existed until one of my straps snapped and I was tired of carrying three gallons on one shoulder. I was looking for something that appeared to be comfortable, had good reviews, and was affordable. It meets all three criteria, and when I have time, I'll replace the straps on two more sprayers. I can't say how long they'll last because I haven't used them yet, but after one summer of use, they haven't shown any signs of wear. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I need to take away a star, and it should probably be two. These metal clips are simply insufficiently durable. I had one fall apart today, but I was able to keep working because the long curved part of it came up from the bottom through the slot, but the other side appears to be breaking soon. It's likely that 1 is sufficient. The sprayer holds 2 gallons, but 3 gallons would be too much for these. I'm still happy with it, but I'm not going to buy any more. br>br>Update: I've heard reports of plastic clips snapping. They swivel on metal swivels, making rotation and adjustment of the straps a breeze. But, in that regard, they are not made of the most durable metal. That was proven to me a few days ago when my strap snapped and I had to catch a three-gallon sprayer. It turns out that if you attach the top clip with the movable part down, every time you flip the sprayer up on your back, the clip bends slightly until the movable part no longer engages the fixed part. I just used a pair of water pump pliers (slip-on) to do it. joint pliers) to squish everything back together, which was a breeze. I've discovered that flipping the clip, which is more difficult to install, reduces the amount of bending. However, for the price, I am completely satisfied. However, if I had paid three times as much, I would have expected more powerful clips. Additional information: br>br> Two upper clamps failed and fell apart, and the curved part that went through my sprayer tab simply fell off after it broke in half, so I reduced the rating to three stars. As-is, these are fine. is enough to fill a sprayer with one gallon, possibly two if you're careful. But, because I like the straps but not the clips, I ordered four stainless steel carabiner clips from Amazon. a rock climbing technique - I slipped them through the top of the strap and clipped them to my sprayer because they weren't too expensive. Now I'm in love with the straps and clips, which I'm confident will support any weight I can put in my sprayer.

Purchased to replace a frame backpack that weighed more than 45 pounds when fully loaded. The straps were well-fitting and appeared to be quite comfortable. On a 15-mile round-trip hike, however, the stitching holding the clip on the right strap completely failed less than 100 yards from the trailhead. To get through the trip, I had to buy a dog leash to keep everything together. It's not a good idea to use it for anything too heavy. For very light purposes, this could be useful.
Bust came across this set of straps and was thrilled to be able to keep my sprayer running. A new sprayer of comparable quality would have been prohibitively expensive, but these straps were the ideal solution at a fraction of the price. The straps are of excellent quality, and they are even more comfortable than the originals. Because I frequently bend or twist while wearing my sprayer, having a harness type clip to connect the straps across my chest makes wearing it feel even more secure. The straps have claw/pinch attachments on both ends that can be connected to almost any existing strap point. These straps come highly recommended by me. Comfortable, long-lasting, and of excellent quality.
The smaller straps also kept turning around, requiring me to straighten them out before putting on the backpack, and the friction D rings didn't "friction" well, causing the strap to come off at inconvenient times. br>br>With the replacement straps, I was able to turn a fairly ordinary backpack into a very nice bag with a luxurious feel. The new straps have enough body to stay in place when I remove the pack, and they're wide enough to stay on one shoulder more comfortably. The swiveling thumb hooks snapped into place quickly on the old straps' anchor D rings. I was concerned that the swiveling hooks would cause the straps to rotate, but they do not. br>br>The new straps are extremely well-made, nice and thick but not overly so, and, most importantly, they look a lot better than the old skinny straps. The thumb hooks will come in handy for carrying almost anything that can be hung on a hook, hanging things on camping trips, and acting as a makeshift first aid sling. Why, there are so many possibilities. However, for average straps of any kind, this is a fantastic upgrade. Four out of five stars!.
