I tried it with both the camelbak quick link and quick connect, and neither of them worked. The valve will go in, but it will not stay put. Katadyn and Osprey are in the same boat. If you want to use it with a Camelbak bladder, you'll need to purchase the Source Tactical hose, which is compatible with modern Camelbak bladders. It's not as simple as changing the mouthpiece. It doesn't work with any of the three quick connect systems that I've tried.
By pressing the quick connect lever and pulling this piece out, you can remove the entire valve from the tube. You can also *disassemble* this valve by removing the rubber bite piece and then pulling the cone-shaped piece. The valve body was used to create a shaped core. When you remove the core, there is a small spring behind it that will most likely fall out, so be careful not to lose it. Because the core has plastic "wings" that lock into the valve body, it will wear out faster if it is disassembled frequently. It's probably better to flush the valve with alcohol rather than disassemble it, but it won't break if you take it apart a few times.
It's not just the bite valve, either.

connects to devices made by other companies. Despite the fact that the valve did not work with my Camelbak, Osprey, Ogio, or generic quick connect systems, it is only fair to separate the product. br>br>I wear a motorcycle helmet with a full face shield. I've been looking for a low-profile 90-degree angle for quite some time now. a 45-degree valve that fits comfortably through the bottom and sits between my mouth and chin br>br>While I didn't get to try the Source valve, I was impressed by its lower profile in comparison to 90-degree angles. elbow valves with a 90° angle I'm not a fan of proprietary systems that appear to be standardized and have interchangeable parts across the board. br>br>In any case, the product appears to be a good fit for my needs. This elbow valve, unlike others, is permanently installed. This is important for motorcyclists because other products fold when they are inserted. The water is turned off when they are folded.
As a result, I placed an order for this tip to be used while running. I needed something gentle on my teeth that wouldn't chip. I decided to order the helix bit after seeing it here because it was soft and didn't require biting at specific angles. Instead of the soft helix bit that was advertised, I was given a hard tip with hard plastic bits on it. As you can see in the photo, it's not even the same item that came in the package!.
None is the number one. 2 is One.
It's a fantastic product, and the ability to fill the bladder through the hose with other Source products is fantastic.
I like how easily it comes apart and how well the bite valve works. The only gripe I have is when it comes to removing the black outer cap - It can be challenging to get rid of at times. When I remove the black cap from the bite valve, it comes off with it. This has happened a few times recently while hiking. It's a huge pain. Aside from that, it's fantastic.
For a good flow, it is too difficult to bite down on. It's best to stick with the original pull-out mouthpiece.
Simple to replace.
This bite valve is fantastic; it's extremely comfortable to use, and it's by far the best on the market.
