The insulator for a Camelbak 50 oz
3/5

is far too small. Mil-Spec Insulator for Camelbak 50 oz Mil-Spec Insulator for Camelbak 50 oz Mil-Spec Insulator The Spec bladder isn't even close to being a good fit. It's a full inch too short and a half inch too narrow. br>I tried installing it with nothing in it, with everything in it, with nothing in it, with nothing in it, with nothing in Before getting the bladder inside the insulator, the bladder had to be partially filled. br>That's fine, except the bladder is SO TIGHT that it can only hold 42 oz instead of the full 50 oz. that is a fluid capacity loss for 2016. However, in reality, in my experience, it's a 22% loss, because when I used the 50 oz bladder without any cover, it held 54 oz of fluid. br>br>Despite the fact that it 'appears' to be well made, the pattern used is too small and not shaped for a good fit. The Camelbak bladder has a curved top and a square-shaped bottom. You'll always have one or the other problem if you're on top of the insulator:
1. Too tight, requiring bladder ends to be folded overbr>2. If the insulators are too loose, they will lose their insulating ability. br>Curve the tops of the insulators to solve the problem. a tighter fit that is more insulating br>br>By the way, the 100 Mil- For the same reason, the Spec insulator was small and narrow. square- curved insulator vs. top insulator bladder in the upper part I'm going to keep it because it's within a few ounces of the original. I did, however, exchange the 50 oz. insulator.

It's ideal for keeping your water cold while also keeping your back dry
5/5

After my first hike with my 100 oz. pack, I ordered this insulator. The Omega bladder from Camelbak. It turns out that filling your Camelbak with ice water causes it to sweat profusely! As a result, I made the decision to test this insulator. It's fantastic! My water stays cold for three to four times longer than before, and my Camelbak doesn't sweat through my backpack. The insulator's quality is excellent as well. It has a good vibe to it. It looks well-made and like it will last a long time; just make sure you order the correct bladder size. This insulator has been in my possession for about 6 years and continues to perform admirably.

So far, I've given it a five-star rating
5/5

So far, I've given it a five-star rating. br>br>Up to this point, I'm giving it five stars. Thick neoprene of good quality. It appears to be a well-built structure. The tops and bottoms have good stitching, and the back has a long strip of Velcro. The front holes may appear small at first, but once the neoprene is seated around the opening of your reservoir, it fits very nicely and snugly. A Camelbak Crux 2 liter reservoir is what I'm using. The fit inside isn't 100% perfect but it’s’s’s’s’s’s’s’s’s’s’s dar Unless this sleeve is made for a specific reservoir, I wonder if anything would fit 100% perfect, so I am not deducting anything from my score for this. I also have an insulated tube sleeve that fits perfectly. br>br> As a result, it also receives five stars. It does increase the diameter of your tube, but that's the price you pay for having it. If your backpack has attachable anchor points, the tube and insulator sleeve may be too big for them. br>br>I'm going to put my insulated reservoir in a 5. Backpack for the 11th Rush. I'm confident it'll fit, but how well it insulates the water inside the reservoir will be the true test. I'll be attending the Indy 500 next weekend, and I'll be bringing this with me. The true test of how well it keeps ice water cold will be in that situation. br>br>Overall, I'm very happy with what I've seen so far.

This is a simple product, which is a good thing
5/5

It's nice and simple and well-built. My Camelbak is perfectly suited to this product. It shouldn't be too tight or too loose. exactly what I was looking for The tube cover was also a breeze to install. Now, in terms of practicality, I didn't find that the tube cover does much to keep the liquid cool, and if you think about it, a piece of neoprene isn't going to keep a small amount of liquid cool within that tube. I'm not sure what the advantage of re: is. There is some insulation value in having that piece of neoprene on the main bladder, but the main benefit for me is that the neoprene protects and effectively deals with the condensation that occurs when the camel bak is filled with ice, etc. Because I keep a lot of photographic equipment in my bag, this is a huge deal for me. In any case, depending on your goals / uses, this could be a fantastic product, which is also well-built.

There is a noticeable difference
5/5

When the temperatures are high, normal Camelbak drinking is not pleasant. I live in a very hot and humid part of the world, so normal Camelbak drinking is not pleasant. This sleeve allowed me to keep my water colder for longer, which was especially useful this summer. Because the water was cooler, I noticed that I was also drinking more.

Durable
5/5

It appears to be as described and functions properly. Snug fit. It's in my hunter pack for outdoorsmen with optics. Fits perfectly in the meat sling for extra storage. Throughout the day, the water was ice cold. In the Arizona desert, I use it in conjunction with my hunting pack.
