Questions & Answers
Yes, it can be used to help secure the stoma more effectively. Prior to applying makeup, I would apply skin prep.
It's put on the skin by you. The spray nozzle is prone to clogging. If it's easier, a cotton swab can be used.

I use Freestyle Libre sensors for glucose monitoring, and they kept falling off way too soon. Perhaps the adhesive they use is acceptable to some, but it is not acceptable to me. Abbott suggested that you use this adhesive. I haven't misplaced a single sensor since I began using it. Another thing to worry about has been removed from the equation.
I like how once I spray this adhesive on my skin, it sticks to the paper stoma adhesive I use to attach it and stays on for about 5 minutes. 7 days, depending on how much I spray on my skin, which is extremely effective. The only thing I don't like about it is that it becomes obsolete once you've used it. It clogs up occasionally, so I use a few pumps of detachol adhesive remover to keep it from clogging, as it's very sticky once it gets on your hands.
It works great for keeping my life style sensor in place, but you have to be careful not to get any on the sensor's needle or it won't work.
I followed the instructions for using the adhesive saw, but it did not work, resulting in the purchase of a new sensor.
This is a fantastic solution. The bandage is kept in place. If it gets stuck on your fingers, I use dw40 to remove it. My husband's freestyle diabetic bandage was worn for 14 days at a time. His bandage was going to fall off in 5 days if he didn't use it. This is fantastic.
UGH! After one pump, the pump spray mechanism became stuck, and it was broken! The manufacturer recommended soaking it in alcohol, which I did, but it didn't help because the problem is with the pump itself, not with the product. I'm not pleased at all. This is a product you should not buy!!.
Picture. Isn't the spray bottle, as advertised, a major letdown?.
It works well for keeping my sensor in place, which is why I like it.
