Johnson has always seemed to me to be a jerk. Johnson's created some fantastic Band-Aid brands. I have a lot of lesions on my fingers and painful cuts, so Band-Aids don't last long for me. The great thing about these bandages is that they're designed specifically for fingers and knuckles and are waterproof. I wash my hands all day as a schoolteacher and don't have time to mess with Band-Aids, so these are ideal.
Eczema frequently causes my husband's finger tips to split and bleed. These bandages are more comfortable to wear than straight bandages. The four tails can be twisted around the finger to keep the bandage in place more securely. The edges of the bandages fray, perhaps because he uses his hands so much during the day. He'll have to snip the frayed edges off. This irritates him, but at least the bandage stays on his finger, which is very useful!.
Most importantly, these bandaids were purchased at full retail price. br>I would buy these Band-aids again, and from the same vendor, Pharmapack. This is why;
1. The bandaids were not dried out, and they were new. br>2. From the supplier, they were shipped in a very sturdy BOX. Unlike others who were shipped in a bag from Amazon, they arrived in excellent condition.
3. They were the first ones there. br>The Band-aid brand adhesive is superior to others in that it adheres to your skin. I found it unusual that they kept themselves to themselves. I also discovered that most bandaids only stay on for up to 24 hours, despite the fact that they used to stay on for days when I was a kid (I'm 66 years old). (((((((((((((((((((((((((((.
The bandage is too easily loosened, but the glue-on is strong enough to keep it in place. Not in the least. It took a lot of scrubbing and some pretty harsh soap to get rid of the adhesive, which slowed healing and made the wound worse than it was before. br>br>And this company was known for having the best bandages on the market. They were tough, with long-lasting adhesion and (for the most part) easy removal, and a wide range of applications. That is no longer the case.
Each box contains two different shapes that can be used to wrap various parts of the fingers and toes. My cuticles are frequently infected, and my finger tips occasionally split open due to dryness. Straight bandages will not provide adequate coverage. They stick well, which is crucial in these applications. This solution has a lot of appeal for me. br>br>.
The good old "Band-AidTM" is simply superior to the majority of shoddy knockoffs. They stay in place longer and leave the least amount of adhesive behind- Even after a couple of days, it's still there. The material – type are more comfortable, breathe better, and dry faster than other brands, resulting in less of a macerated mushy patch after removal. Most other brands cause me to break out in a rash after a few hours, but not these.
These are the best bandaids I've ever used in my 23 years of construction. They have the ability to get me through a difficult day while also protecting and cleaning my wounds.
I thought I'd gotten the butterfly closures, which are thin strips that pull an open wound together. Instead, I received bandaids in the shape of a butterfly. They're well-made and sturdy, but they're not quite what I was looking for.
