It's for Yakima, not for the rest of the world.
That is something I haven't looked into. It was designed to fit my Subaru, which I purchased from a Subaru dealer. They appear to have a lot in common.
Yes, I used it on my front loader, which has a similar rack, and it worked flawlessly.
For my 3" tires, this is plenty long.

Fortunately, the strap was the only thing that got damaged. I'm back in business after a quick change of clothes. The strap on the Yakima Frontloader can be replaced with this product. (It could work for someone else -) That information is not available to me. )br>br>Tip: If you are looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative+ para Place your helmet (or other bike-related item) on the dashboard to remind you that your bike is parked on top of the vehicle.
It doesn't do anything special; it just keeps the wheel on the rack. br>br>What was even better was the vendor's quick delivery.
Note that this is only for the newer style racks; older ones (on which the strap cannot be replaced - see below) are not compatible. The entire strap assembly must be replaced). br>br>Ordered this by accident because I didn't do enough research, but since I already have a newer and older rack, I'll keep it until I need it.
However, I did notice that the new replacement has a notch in it to keep the strap from falling out of the holder.
It's an expensive part for something that comes off the shelf far too easily. So far, three bikes have been lost this way, and the fourth has broken at the pin, scattering my bike across the highway. It had escaped being run over, but it had been badly scraped and beaten up.
If you leave your bike across the tray and try to ride it, it will break. They work perfectly as long as you pull it back first.
I bought two, but I wish the design wasn't so prone to slipping out in the first place.
I received it on time, and because the previous one was broken, I will need to purchase another car with this new part.
