Yes, using the Yakima TimberLine towers, this will attach directly to your 4Runner's side rails.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but I might be able to assist you. A Yakima HD with crossbars and a lockNload platform is in my possession. I really like how everything is set up. I've got an awning, and I've got a couple of tie-downs. Pioneer tool mounts, as well as down eye hooks. Rotopax and recovery track mounts are available from Yakima, and they're the next item on my shopping list.
I have it mounted to my 4runner's side rails, but I had to buy Timberline towers and SL adapters to properly configure it. To put it another way, yes, but other attachments are required. Only the crossbar clamps are required if your Honda already has crossbars. In terms of the tent, I chose a Yakima model because it can be attached to the lock n load platform without the use of any tools. I can't speak for other brand-name tents that need to be bolted to the rack.
Hi there! We contacted Yakima for more information on proper fit: On the top level of the EasyRider trailer, any LocknLoad platform can be used, but size J is the best because it fills the space nicely and won't interfere with the towing vehicle during sharp turns. Sizes E and K are recommended for the lower level. Larger platforms on the lower level are not recommended because the fixed crossbar position biases the platform too far forward or backward on the trailer, potentially causing clearance issues during cornering and interfering with Tent Kit installation. To get the most clamping force on the trailer bars and frame, use three (3) pairs of LocknLoad Crossbar Clamps per bar.

Installed on a Subaru Crosstrek from the year 2019. Although it appears to be well constructed, there is much room for improvement. Before ordering, I considered another brand's platform and realized that I should have gone with that brand because the LockNLoad Platform has a limited number of accessories. There is very little wind noise.
Arrived in a clean and comfortable vehicle. packaged in a certain way There are no missing parts. The product is simple to put together and of excellent quality.
It really works. It came with clear instructions on how to put it together.
The factory racks on my Ford Excursion were in need of replacement. If you've ever had an ex, you'll understand what I'm talking about. I wanted a do-it-all rack to which I could strap some sit-ups. br>br>Poor design, Ford!br>br>I wanted a do-it-all rack to which I could strap some sit-up I can go on long road trips without worrying about losing my kayak because I have one of these in style kayaks. I take a 2000-mile road trip to British Columbia every year and need a safe way to transport my yaks. I've taken that trip with a typical J-type of person. hooks a couple of times Lifetime yaks on J-frame are 36" wide. Hooks spaced 36" apart appear to move around a lot and may be too much boat for that setup. When there was a strong crosswind in Montana, I actually bent one set of hooks, and I had to stop and adjust them and tighten things down all the time. Something bad was bound to happen sooner or later. Kayaks were simply not stable enough to travel long distances at freeway speeds. br>br>As a result, I purchased the LocknLoad. I was planning on laying the yaks flat on the platform, but instead decided to nest them. That worked perfectly; I drove 500 miles last weekend and the yaks didn't move at all, even at freeway speeds of over 80 mph. I don't usually drive that fast, but I wasn't towing a camper and wanted to see how this setup worked. On the next trip, I'll most likely throw some bikes up top because there's space. This is a sturdy and stable rack that can handle anything you throw at it. I am blown away. When nothing is on it, there isn't much (if any) wind noise, so it's a good choice. br>br>As far as assembly goes, it's fairly simple; the instruction manual is available, but I found it to be lacking. I looked at a youtube video to see how it was done and decided that was the best route to take. It took just over an hour to put it together, and it didn't require an engineering degree. br>br>This is a pricey rack, but one that I expect to use for a long time. br>br>I highly recommend it.
