Though I'm not certain I'd consider nylon a good option, I do know they are quite comfortable to wear. I've brought some of the best stuff I've ever
However, 1" is the correct width for the strap.
For $10, I received a pair.

The problem is. Make sure that you wrap the straps around each roof rail and only run over the top of the board, then clamp them down firmly. You will be vibrating at high speeds against the roof if you run a strap between the board and your vehicle's roof. As well, make sure that the free ends of the wire are secured. They tend to make quite a bit of noise.
It seemed like everything about the dorsal straps were perfect! (Left side of the picture) I felt very happy with them! In addition. The new 2019 model I received was much thinner, flimsier and poorly made, with a thin cushion, smaller buckle, and thinner strap across both The right side of the picture shows great disappointment (right side of the picture). Who or what is responsible for this? Is the factory you use now an outsourced one? How did you manage to keep up your outstanding quality? let me know that this was an error with the shipping and I received a substandard item by mistake so that I will receive the one that truly reflects what your company stands for. The new pictures of the replacement item have been sent, and this review is being updated and revised. The DORSAL team has not lost any faith in me!.
At the end of March, I bought these straps to car top my Hobie Mirage Sport. After a long winter, the weather is finally warm enough for fishing and strap use in May. When I used the straps for the first couple of times, they worked well and seemed durable. I noticed that the strap on one side was completely chewed off after a short trip today. I am not sure what did it maybe the vibration from driving on the highway rubbed the strap against the kayak and melted it.
The application is The 11 are traveling in these, so I bought them. From Southern CA to Northern VA, I paddled a 5' kayak on route 40 across the country. Only twice during a week did I have to tighten these straps- I drove 70 miles per hour in high winds and the rain on a long trip. Among the benefits Components of great quality, design that is great from the straps to the cams, and enough length to ensure the features will perform well. I was able to keep my kayak tight and secure over 3500 miles when paired with my Thule straps. The set I'm purchasing above will be used exclusively for local trips (100,00 miles or less) and I'll buy another Even though the straps have been exposed to sunlight, they have not faded and they have performed well in heavy rains and winds. This is a top-notch product. The cons are My application does not contain any. A OVERALL VIEW These straps were perfect for my tie-ins. They held up tightly and are a permanent part of my collection In my Jeep, I have a down box. An outstanding performance.
What you pay for is what you will receive. This would be fine for using in a plastic kayak, but would not be suitable for use on anything valuable. It is too small to use a Neoprene pad. I find the stitching to be of low quality. As well, the straps have poor quality material. It turned out to be worse than I had imagined when I opened it. It is not unusual for cam buckles to This is a trash version with weak straps. 6/10 2nd update. Purchase does not make sense. Plan your spending for the next four days I tried every method to make it work, other than getting an inhaler, nothing worked. I spent 5 $ more to get a different brand. A bad product that is beginning to shred. I have used it four times already. In the event of an inability to return, throwing it away.
When we received the straps, the ends were frayed when we got them. It held well once you got the strap through the buckle, but the straps don't hold up well once you get them through the buckle. This is quite the struggle and something I shouldn't have to deal with when I have only had the product for a couple of weeks. After communicating the issue to the seller, they failed to make any attempt to address the issue.
There does not appear to be much strength to them. As it turned out, they did not turn out as I had envisioned. Their finishing job is not quite as good as it could be.
The product needs upgrading. It was 16 dollars at the West Marine store in my area, and I bought a really sturdy one there. When I go to a third world country I will give these as a gift and warn the people who will utilize them that they might not be as good as they seem.
The DaKine product did not come longer than 12', so I tried the Dorsal product. Dorsal webbing is slimmer in appearance, and seems about half the weight of DaKines's straps and is already tearing after only a month. As well as The Dorsal camera also allows you to see There are a few flimsy lock cinches, which won't last. That's what you get if you spend that much money. It is a very grueling competition for me to take part in The economy is going away, so I will be looking harder and spending more money on the next set, which should be around 2 years from now. It seems as if DaKine still makes their straps as heavy as before Does the military still perform their duty? It is my hope that it is.
