Hello, this is a 9x100mm Quick release fork.
It's possible that if the disc brakes don't come off with the wheel, they won't work.
Because the mounting holes are straight cut through, a panhead or regular bolt will be required.
Yes, I believe it is. The fork on the mount exerts very little weight/torque. I'd put washers behind the mounting surface to increase the surface area and make the mount more stable.

I'm not sold on the'secure' aspect; it'll do the job perfectly, but I don't see any real security with it. Maybe I'm wrong, and if so, someone or the seller could explain it to me better, but even if the skewer is locked, the bold on the far side of the skewer can be removed completely. So, if I approached the bike with a wrench, I believe I could simply unscrew the black nut and everything would loosen enough for the bike to be removed.
You get a lot of bang for your buck with this purchase. It was simple to set up and secures my bike. Attaching it to the rails of my Tacoma required only a few 1" screws, nuts, lock nuts, and washers.
This is fantastic! I attached two of these to a 2X10 that is securely wedged in my truck's bed. I don't need to secure the bikes, and they don't move an inch. I'm glad I went with the higher-end model, and the locking feature gives me a lot of peace of mind when I'm on my way to the trail or staying overnight. I just moved from Wisconsin to Washington State with my bikes mounted in these and didn't have to re-mount them. Make a single adjustment. They're a little difficult to get rid of, but there's a ribbon attached that you can pull to help. My friend was so taken with them that he purchased a pair for himself.
I think this hitch is one of the better ones I've seen for the price. The hitch does not come with any type of screws or bolts, so you'll have to go out and get them. Bolts that are (1/4)-inch in diameter were discovered. (1/4) and (20)- This hitch will not fit in the holes of the bed tracks that are now found in most truck beds. br>br>It should also be noted that this hitch will not fit in the holes of the bed tracks that are now found in most truck beds. As I have demonstrated, this is easily fixed with a drill. br>br>The Hitch is a solid piece of equipment that is easy to open and close. The lock on the hitch serves no purpose other than to deter would-be thieves from stealing your bike as soon as they see it, because the other side can easily be unscrewed and the bike taken. My recommendation is to either not leave the bike on the hitch overnight or to file the threads so that the cap cannot be removed. br>br>Overall, the hitch is a solid option for expensive racks.
Was precisely what I was looking for. I am very pleased with the product and would recommend it to others.
It's fantastic! Expect to turn a lot during the initial installation due to trial and error, but once it's dialed in, all you have to do is set the fork, latch it, and lock it, and you're done! br>br>The included locks are inexpensive, but I use them inside the cab when parking in public. However, I wouldn't rely on these locks to keep thieves out of open cab pickup trucks or roof mounts. br>br>Overall, it was an excellent purchase; the mounts are extremely sturdy!.
thief with a dash The exposed cam is enormous, allowing for a great deal of travel. You won't need to touch the acorn nut again once you've adjusted it. But be cautious - Ensure that the curved plastic washer engages the cam properly. They're a little difficult to open at times, but I know they're safe. I purchased two of these for a homemade truck rack that I built, and I'm considering purchasing a third to complete the set. The locks are a little flimsy, and they all use the same keys, but they're adequate for the job. thief with a dash Excellent work!!.
