Questions & Answers

Is this wheeled cart used to pick up balls as well as transport them?

This cart can also be used to pick up the balls.

Is there a lid to keep the balls from rolling out if I transport it in my car's trunk?

There is no lid, but there are two fiberglass (? ) (? ) (? ) (? ) (? ) ( ) bars that move into place to keep the balls in place and prevent them from falling out. I put a full baskek in my trunk and not a single ball has gotten away. " I am very pleased with the purchase of the ball basket (I replaced an older, very heavy, all metal Hoag).

Is there a cover included with this? From the image, it's difficult to tell. thanks! ?

On each side of the top, there are two rods confined in slots. The result of squeezing the rods together closes the gap between them, preventing the balls from rolling out of storage. If you're asking if there's a cover to keep the balls dry if it rains, the answer is no. That's something you'd have to rig up yourself. The balls are secure even if you invert the container to pour them out because the top is in the restraining position.

Will this work with pickleballs as well?

I haven't tried it yet, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

br>br>Gamma Cons:
- The capacity is not 72. The lid pops open, spilling the balls into the trunk of my car.
- Due to the lid and handles, it is awkward to dump into a Ball Machine.
- The lid separates from the frame on a regular basis. br>br>Pros at the Tourna:
- THE PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY WERE FIXED! The assembly was simple but effective, and it took only a few minutes. easy.
- Holds 72 (rather than the advertised 80)br>- Overall, I think it's a fantastic concept. br>- Although it appears to be heavier than the wire Gamma, it is actually two ounces lighter.
- Exceptionally sturdy (except for the wheels)br>- The top flexible rods do a good job of keeping the balls in place. br>- When picking up balls, the bottom-most flexible rods flex more easily than the Gamma wire. br>- Without having to unload the balls, they fall into the hopper of a Ball Machine. the handles should be clipped br>br>Cons of the Tournament:
- You should get some Loctite or M4 locknuts. 7) Because the wheel screws that come with the kit fall out like rain. It took 2 hours to find replacement screws for a $30 product. locknuts and put them in place. Think about it.

This is an outstanding ball hopper. It has a number of features that make it superior to the traditional ball hopper that I've been using. It has a clever design and is lightweight and versatile. The handles, in particular, are secured to the sides and will not fall apart as easily as my old ball hopper did. They also click together and separate easily if you want to use it as a ball basket by inverting it. It's particularly easy to maneuver thanks to the wheels, which eliminate the need for excessive lifting. It is, however, much lighter than the metal hoppers. It's also easy to pick up balls. The bottom slots are just wide enough to allow the balls to slide in, but narrow enough to keep them there once they're in. The top slider bars are a clever alternative to other hoppers' swinging tops, allowing you to slide them apart to access the balls while keeping them from falling out. br>br>Let me respond to some of the criticisms made by other users: 1) It isn't flimsy in the least. It's quite sturdy once it's put together. The sides are securely held together with screws. The screws on my old hopper would come undone and the sides would fall apart, but that isn't an issue here. br>2) The handles aren't too short; I'm a medium-sized man, and they're just right. It wouldn't fit in my SUV as well if the handles were any taller, because the hatch would hit them when it closed. One user who is 5'4" commented that I don't stoop when I roll it. br>3) It's not difficult to put together; it took me about 40 minutes. If you have a little common sense, the instructions are adequate and fairly straightforward. Attaching both sides while keeping the top and bottom rods in place proved to be the most difficult part. It takes a few tries to get everything lined up for the rods to snap together. I made the mistake of putting the wheels on last, but they were still able to be attached. Attaching them before putting the sides together will make it easier. br>4) When emptying into a ball machine, balls can become stuck, but this is true of any ball hopper. To completely empty the hopper, you must shake it a little, but this is a minor inconvenience that would occur with any ball hopper.

The basket is very nice
4/5

Instructions are terrible! The cart's design and functionality are both appealing to me. br>The wheels make transporting the item simple. br>I DO RECOMMEND putting the wheels on first, then putting the basket together. The plastic basket appears to be standard and decent in terms of overall quality. br>The metal bars are well-made and of a high standard of quality. br>The plastic basket and handlebars are held together with metal screws. br>This, I believe, is where basket's real flaw lies. br>I used cyanoacrylate and hot glue to reinforce mine, knowing that I wouldn't be able to disassemble it as easily. br>br>BTW, the instructions that came with the package are some of the worst I've ever seen!br>Clearly, the instructions were a last-minute addition. br>There was a lot of effort put into the artwork claiming that this product is endorsed by Pete Sampras and others. br>I wish the instruction manual had been given more attention.

Overall, it's a decent effort
3/5

I've been using it for about a month and am mostly pleased with it. The plastic appears to be in good condition. Vertically, it's quite sturdy. So far, my only gripe has been the height when rolling it on the wheels. I'm six feet tall, and rolling this is difficult for me because the handles are too short and I have to reach down quite low. My 11-year-old son has a solution. My 12-year-old daughter is in charge of rolling it, while I am in charge of the racket bags. br>br>Created: br>br>Revise: br>br>Revise: I've had it for about 6 months now, and some of the plastic on the frame has broken off, and the screws in the wheels have worked their way out. Only three stars are being revised.

It's a waste of money
3/5

I purchased it for my 25-year-old daughter. year- It's a bit of a pain to carry around an old metal hopper. br>br>First and foremost, this does not hold the advertised 80 balls. I used 36 red-colored paper clips. There's barely enough room for the dot balls. Yes, I am aware of the crimson hue. The dots are slightly larger, but not by much. br>br>You must assemble it, using eight small screws for the wheels and twelve larger screws for the rest. With about 5-minutes left on the clock, two of the larger screws were stripped out. Torque in lbs. br>br>Overall, it looks nice in pictures, but that's all there is to it. I'm going to give it six months before it completely falls apart. Even then, it's possible. I'd return it, but I'm not in the mood to disassemble it and reassemble it. I'm out of money by $40. br>br>Someone should make a carbon fiber wire-type hopper.
