I bought this in several sizes for my three daughters, but the shoulders were slightly too big in the Large and much too big in the x-large. Even on my slim children, the torso is small and the torso is very slim cut. The medium and small had ridiculously large shoulders, so I only kept the large for my average-sized 7-year-old.
This dress is of excellent quality and fabric, and it is a bargain at the price. The material is thick, stretchy, and soft. The retro prints are fantastic. I'll be on the lookout for more Soybu items.
Soybu products have lasted a long time after being washed and worn. All of the Soybu clothes that have been purchased have been enjoyed by the child who wears them, who describes them as soft and comfortable.
What I like about this dress that others might not is that it has some extra room in the hips and booty. It's cut through the hips a little like a women's dress, which is perfect for my well-bootied six-year-old.
