The table top is not needed, but the product sits on top of any table
This does not sound like a ratchet. Both the Gamma and the drop weight perform the same way. As well as the drop weight stringer, I have the Gamma 2 point The Tourna has a smooth holding grip. That was important to me before purchasing this machine. As a result, I need to grip the adjusting tool more tightly when I'm tuning. Since then, I have purchased and replaced the drop weight with an electronic tensioner from Wise. Please see below for information on the Tourna machine, thank you.
I've used the user manual set up with the locking knob close to the fulcrum, which seems to give me the best tension.

The stringing machine has been a very nice purchase. Once I have mastered the learning curves and settled into it, I am very happy with my purchase. I especially appreciate the quiet clamping system as the others have a ratchet sound. As I got used to this, I am glad I chose this one over all the others. Everything else works just fine and all the other apps have their little quirks, but I am glad I chose The following is an old version of my There is a soft plastic contact point at 6 and 12 which can be damaged by the pressure of stringing the main and this is causing the racquet to bend and warp. If a material was suitable for the RACQUET, it wouldn't give way. I allowed my racquet to have an eighth of an inch of additional length after stringing it. It takes some time to get used to it. There is too much risk of string being caught in the clamping area of the ratcheting mechanism. There could be a better way to design that.
This is my first string machine. I've watched some YouTube stringing tutorials, and everything seems to be going well. From a match-making perspective, there isn't much to complain about, but the manual isn't up to scratch. There were some important points left out. white plastic tools that are never mentioned in the article, and I have no idea what purpose they serve.
It is very sturdy, heavy and does not move around while it is The results I have achieved with this machine are excellent, and I have strung four rackets so far. If you're interested in buying/using this machine, I recommend it.
I was disappointed with this since I paid for a new machine. The title of this blog post says it all. I am very disappointed that I paid for a new machine but received one that had been used. In the used market, I could have found a comparable Gamma machine for less money. As can be seen by the numerous scuff marks on the machine, it's clearly been used. We had trouble with the outside brackets being stiff and did not adjust as you descrewed the adjustment knobs on the side. The problem was resolved by loosening the bolts underneath and by rubbing some WD40 on them. With the exception of the bracket issue and the fact that it was a used machine, it is excellent for the job you want it to perform. In addition to being easy to use and having more locking points than a similar Gamma machine, it is also quiet and is silent in operation. However, it is a little difficult to grip when readjusting the drop weight when tensioning because of the smooth surface. In my opinion, it would have rated 4 out of 5 In the unlikely case of not finding one previously owned, I would have paid $5. In my view, the machine is a good buy for the casual home stringer while being reasonably priced, and if you get a new one, it is also durable. Alternatively, used ones can be found for a lower price.
