There was no tape to secure the top to the grip, but the grip itself is great. Yesterday after I put it on, I immediately noticed that it was peeling up ever so slightly at the top, and I can only imagine how much more will come off today after I further play with it. To finish the top of the grip, it would be nice to have a tape. It is dumb for me not to be able to secure a grip, given that I don't play with a thick.
There are two of these, and they are both defective. The glue tape will not come off. If I pry it, it will tear off the grip and make a mess. Once that was done, the grip would not adhere to the left overs. The glue and the grip material and peel off material have fused together as if they have sat in the heat of a warehouse for years.
The grip worked well, I regripped my tennis racket within seconds and my wife's in no time. There is a piece of tape that comes with them for stapling the top once you're done. A bit strange was that I purchased them in two separate orders, although the product looked exactly the same online, but the grip was a little more poofy in one of them. Neither of them have any problems.
Having a good grip is essential. Wrapped into ridges, the material is soft. It was exactly what I wanted.
I really enjoy using this grip when I play golf, and it is easy to apply. I highly recommend it!.
I liked it a lot! Being able to grip the handle with real leather is nice.
Remake it to look like a brand new one. An easy to wrap gift.
It has a good grip and is easy to put on. Check the pictures on the back to make sure you are starting in the right spot. It is important to know that if you have an extra long racquet (I do), the grip will probably be somewhat shorter than the one it came with originally. The length of this racquet is comparable to the length of a regular racquet.
