Durability - 0/10 I enjoyed it while it was new, but it broke down within 4 months. I bought the same one twice to try it, and it was not worth the money, and I am not encouraging anyone to deal with what I did.
As I played with it for a while, the crack became so bad that by about 10 months the strings no longer fit. It is not the first time I have had a Walmart racquet hold up longer than this one. In my opinion, for the price I paid, it would not be worth it. Because I do not play competitively, this racquet should have held up much better than it has over the last few years. One of the other ladies with whom I play had one like it, so I bought it too. I did the exact same thing on her racquet in the exact same place as I did on mine!.
While I liked the Head liquid metal 170, the frame broke after just two plays and I had to return A sweet spot on the Black Widow 160 provides you with power, however the 3rd vertical string is often out of place after several games. As long as I move it back into its original position, it's not a problem. In my opinion, the racquet has both power and control and it is extremely light, so I have seen a big improvement in my game, and it is a good value at $129.
The precision and power of my 1-handed game makes me feel great The ball is skimming off the wall two to three times a week with pretty high intensity, and I never pull up on any shots, though I hit the wall quite a bit. The product has held up A string is not broken or a frame is not cracked.
This is a good racket for beginners. This is a nice looking product with a light feel to it.
As a gift for my wife, I got her this. She loves it so much. The racquet is a great value at a great price. We are just weekend warriors, so we cannot compare it to pro grade racquets, but it suits us perfectly.
I like the racquet, but it is far too heavy for my style of play. I sold it to a friend, and he greatly improved his ball speed and accuracy thanks to it.
