There are hollow in these and they It is a great breed of dog. Handball is not what I have tried with them
My knowledge of the subject is limited. Many years ago, after I bought these as part of a birthday gift bag for my grandson, I included them in the bag. There is no evidence that we ever bounced. Sorry about that.

These allow me to give him all the play time he needs without having to worry about him getting tired. He does not have an off button so these keep me sane. Over the last 2 years, we have purchased them four different times, and for the most part we enjoy them, so we will keep buying more of them for Moose loves them they bounce well, are durable, hold up well when my husband steps on them during play time with the pup, and hold up well when my husband steps on them during Moose's play time. A total of 7 balls have ever been popped out of 4 bags (48 balls). Except for two of those, all were just out in the Moose may have gotten a few bad ones here and there, but he's addicted to them so we don't let him stop us for too This batch had five balls that popped right away, which made for a very sad pup. This last batch won 4 out of 5 stars. Next time, there will be a better batch.
As a super chewer, my dog loves to play with racquet balls. He uses racquet balls for fetch. Since I wanted to avoid going to Walmart, I ordered these instead Mart has chewed his way through some and held up others. It wasn't a very good day for them as they split at the seam while he was chewing. In the past, the only thing he cannot chew to bits was racquet balls. Not.
It is hard for our dogs to resist tennis balls, but they like to tear the fuzz and wrapping off. It works much better with these! We can easily find them in the yard when we need to find them before mowing thanks to their bright colors.
These balls were bought with the intent that my dog would use them along with the others from her collection of balls (mainly tennis balls). Her favorite part is how bouncy they are, but she won't touch them because of how bouncy they are. You may not be able to use these as a replacement for tennis balls if you have a dog who is obsessed with them.
I have 2 dobermans who chew aggressively. It takes one bite to crack a tennis ball. Although I have been buying Penn balls for years, I thought it would be wise to save a few bucks and buy sky balls instead. Performance may be the same, but durability may not be. It is possible to take a chomp to a Penn ball, but you can crack a brand new Sky ball in a single chomp.
These balls have held up very well and are small enough for her to catch comfortably. I will purchase again if these ever wear out. I have a 20 lb Australian shepherd who loves to chew and play ball.
I love them. The box falls apart, but let's just say that they're fantastic for baseball practice. I use them with my 9-year-old grandson!.
