Questions & Answers

What can I do with this to practice bumping and setting?

It is true. This is the reason I gave it to my daughter because of those two reasons. For "real" sets, the rope connecting the ball to the waist band needs to be at its longest length. Even so it is a bit short for real practice but it's still enough to learn the correct hand placement.

Is it possible for another, longer cord to be attached?

This isn't so much a cord as it is a wide elasticised tape. There are two possibilities 1/ find or make an extension piece that has a (lightweight) clip on both ends, and clip into it or 2/ make an extension piece that snaps into the clip The elasticised tape is sewn onto the balloon tether (the other end is sewed into the elasticised tape). A new extension can be made by cutting the tape and sewing it in.

Can you tell me if the product has a logo?

With a big volleyball pal, practice is a snap with a VP, a rotating ball for the ball holder and neoprene for the circle of the P. Despite the fact that it appears on the front of the package, it does not appear

What type of volleyball does the volleyball pal work with?

The answer is yes to any full size volleyball.

The idea is great, but the product is faulty
3/5

My daughter (11 years old, 5'2") says the string is a little too short. It isn't like the picture on the product page, she can't really throw the ball upwards now. Suitable for underhand serves, but is not very helpful for ball returns actually because the string is too short so they are In addition, the strap secured to the bag wraps very very tightly around the volleyball. She cannot even get it around the In my opinion, this is not a good idea. If you put the volleyball in a plastic bag, tie a string to it, and then attach it to your waist, that is better.

In order to practice her overhand serve, the strap is too short to yield an effective toss
3/5

I did not expect that my daughter would use this as much as she did. With her arm smacking the volleyball every few steps, the daughter is seen walking the dog through the neighborhood with the family. However, at least one concern has been expressed about the elasticity of the strap. My concern is about how long the strap actually is. Despite my daughter being not the tallest kid in the world, she can barely get a good toss to master her overhand serve because the strap is too short. An extra 2 inches should be added to the strap It only takes 3 feet to make an excellent.

This product is very good
5/5

I have two daughters who are using it to improve their volleyball skills as they grow. It is about the right size for my 11-year-old to practice her overhand serving toss. I read that the tether is a little short. I think it is about the right length for her to practice. As she gets a little older, I imagine it will be too short for her. I think we'll be able to add some length down the road, so I'm not sure how difficult it would be.

If you are going to let your child use the unit, you should adjust before they do so
5/5

As my daughter recently began playing volleyball, I got this for her as a present. would like to remind you that you will need to set up the game before your child can play. She is of the type to open it right away and can't wait for it to remain in place, so she set it up herself, didn't release the strap, and the ball came flying back at her. You can set it up for them so this will not happen and it will serve its purpose (no pun intended). This is a great game for those who are learning the height of the toss and making contact The fit is perfect for my daughter who is almost five feet tall and approximately 10 years old.

I'm not sure what I was thinking when I spent those 20 dollars
3/5

You should only use this product if you are a beginner! As I was practicing my jump serve, I couldn't even get one serve in because the rope was not as long as it should It won't allow you to even overhand serve with it like the picture because it will get tangled up around your arm. There are no bumps or sets you can make Despite my initial excitement, this product turned out to be one of my worst 20$ purchases.

This is a great practice tool
4/5

My daughter wants to try out for her middle school volleyball team this fall, so I bought her this item. This is a great tool for helping my daughter learn how to serve because she's never played volleyball and she lives with her mom a few hours away, so I'm not able to go to her every day to help. I can see improvement in her form and agility already. Initially, it was a bit awkward as she got used to the setup, but the adjustable strap allowed her to adjust it to the right size, and since then she's been able to get a lot of practice in I'm not sure the tether would be long enough for her to jump serve yet, since she's just starting out and hasn't performed jumping services yet. I just don't think you'd be able to throw it high enough for it to I would say that it's a really great practice tool, though, especially for aspiring servers looking to get better at serving.

I like it! A lot of fun for my daughter, who is 12 years old! The driveway was put to endless use this fall as she used it endlessly
