Questions & Answers
Yes. It's for our youth group, and we put a lot of wear and tear on it. It's quite lovely.
Poles are made from two 10' long 3/4" metal conduit pieces purchased at Home Depot for less than ten dollars. I make use of two U-shaped tables. Attach the net and guy ropes (I use paracord for the guy ropes) with bolts (a buck each) on each pole (you could also use eye bolts if you want to drill). I bought two three-foot sections of 1" diameter PVC to make it easier to put up. I set the conduit (poles) in them after driving them a foot into the ground. I simply tighten the net and stake the guy ropes. The total cost of the setup without a net is less than $20, and it is simple to set up and take down by one person.
Although there are no poles, the net is extremely strong and of excellent quality.
The net and the ropes used to hang it are all that is included. There are no posts or a base included with this item. This is the place on the internet where you can set it up where there are already posts. It's similar to a volleyball court; we use it at a beach volleyball court and it works great. The stainless steel upper rope/tensor is excellent because it can be tightened without breaking.

It is extremely popular among children. It's something I'd buy again if the opportunity arose. This volleyball net is of backyard quality and is reasonably priced. The construction is of backyard quality, and the net is made of polypropylene string, which isn't the most attractive material, but who cares? I would have spent more money on a more expensive net if I had wanted to pay for the best. br>When the kids are playing, the net keeps the ball on the correct side of the net, and our family has now expanded to include badminton with the same net (though the shuttlecocks go right through the larger volleyball sized holes, it still works for our kids who now spend hours in the backyard when the weather is nice). br>I used a tape measure to lay out the court and used the diagonals to square the ends. I pushed flagging tape into the grass at the corners of the court, which was much larger than I had anticipated. br>I bought a $300 strap tensioner (for about $4) from a local hardware store, and it works great for tensioning the net between the porch and a tree. The other end of the net is held in place by a chunk of climbing rope. I never figured out how to tension the top of the net with just a rope at both ends (YMMV), so I consider the tensioner to be indispensable. Just be careful not to topple your tree. However, I have no fear of breaking the steel top cable that came with this net. Overall, if you have a volleyball and a backyard, this is a great way to spend that $25 you have lying around.
This is the second net we've purchased, and it'll be used in two different locations. I understand that this is an official size and quality net, but my kids enjoy playing pick-up volleyball with their friends, so we bought one that they hang against our basketball hoop on one side and bushes on the other. We bought another one and had it installed in the shallow end of the lake at our lake house because they liked it so much.
Please note that this item does not include poles. All I have is a net. It's also the equivalent of two nets in size! It's far too large to fit in a yard, and it lacks the necessary poles to do so. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this outcome.
This is a very strong net. It arrived in good condition. My daughter's graduation party was the occasion for which we hung it - I used some of the advice that other people had given me. (For the posts, we used 4x4s in concrete buckets so that we could easily move them for lawn mowing. ) They still need to be anchored, but it's a good start). The net had a hole in it after one party use, which is why I gave it a 4. I'm not sure how that happened; they weren't going crazy on the internet, were they? The only thing we did was tie the two pieces together. It should be fine; I just didn't expect anything less from a "professional-grade" network.
This is fantastic! It's simple to use, and the quality is excellent. If you're stuck in an endless search of reading reviews, comparing prices, and quality like I was, do yourself a favor and buy this one after looking at so many others first. Now is the time to put an end to your search and purchase this item. You're not going to be let down. Simply buy this to put an end to the madness of searching.
This net is adequate, but the top and bottom white stripes should be thicker. Overall, I'm disappointed in the net's quality.
It was a cinch to use. For the best price, this is an excellent net.
It is in excellent condition. It's a good net, and it doesn't break down so easily. With a reasonable price.
