playing in a competitive environment These are excellent lines at a reasonable price; I was surprised at how much some of them were selling for; after all, these are just flat nylon ropes, people! So I didn't want to overpay because we only use them on weekends to play some fun games. But these work great, appear to be of good quality, and are easily visible in the sand; I only gave them four stars because I despise the stakes; they're so BBQ ball! I purchased sand anchors separately, which are not only a lot easier, but also a lot safer. You don't want someone stepping on, falling on, or tripping over these stakes, and depending on the depth of your court, it may be difficult to pound them deep enough to bury the entire stake. Remove the stakes and replace them with anchors- You'll use them once a week for a period of five weeks. You'll need a new pair in 10 years.
TWO of the stakes broke the first time we used these lines to set up our grass court. We don't have any stakes to put in the lines, so they're useless. I would advise against purchasing these lines unless they significantly improve the stakes' quality and durability.
This was one of the best purchases we've made so far this summer. The court was exactly as described and was simple to install; the only issue we had was squaring the court, which we quickly resolved.
It appears to be in good condition. I placed an order for it for our church's summer camp and had it delivered to them directly. It was holding up well and looking good after a summer of abuse when I was there. Much better than the fraying nylon rope that had previously been employed.
These are far superior to rope lines in terms of performance. Only a smidgeon of faded.
