Selected User Reviews For Franklin Sports Professional Series Steel Pole Volleyball System
We've had it for almost a month, and my teenagers have been using it, and it's fantastic.
The net I got was a lot bigger than the rules. The length of the string exacerbates the problem.
The steel poles were more attractive than some of the less expensive sets, and the net appears to be quite durable. It's fine for a casual game, but you shouldn't expect to play anything off the internet with it. It's a bit of a shambles. All of the other ropes, with the exception of the net's bottom rope, have a nice tightening system. In addition, the bottom of the net appeared to be longer than the top. Also, the package states that it includes 10" metal stakes, but all of the stakes were plastic. I had hoped for a semi-finalist. It's a professional system, but it falls short; I gave it a 3 because it's not bad for under $100 and could be used for a casual game.
It's difficult to set up and keep it in place.
Net and system are excellent. The volleyball instructions were inadequate, and the scoring area was inferior to the less expensive net I had.
I find it useful for a quick game of volleyball once I figure out how to put it together, and it adds a touch of professionalism to the court.
What are sand discs used for, and how are they used? There are two types of eye bolts, and you're not sure which one goes on top or bottom. The illustrations on the instructions are also terrible. I'm disappointed because I'm usually great at setting up and following instructions, but this is ridiculous.
