After the very first game, this knee pad tore. If Amazon had done that, they would either refund the money or ship a new pair of shoes. She chose to keep them due to the fact that the season had already begun. There is a complete tear in the pad.
I've let my daughter wear them since she was 13 years old, but she has worn them a lot longer than that. Her small turned into a medium after she started with the small. is 5'8" now in 11th grade and has been that height since 8th grade. If you are unsure of the knee size, just measure the knee as instructed.

The age of my daughter when she starts high school volleyball is 14. This is the second year she has used the Mizuno LR6 kneepads. I thought they were ok, but my daughter thought they would be more comfortable with more padding in the inner knee area. A knee pad like this SL2 will meet your needs. The profile is still low, but the coverage is better. I just saw her after she returned from volleyball camp and she loved how the knee pads controlled the ball. There is no information about her height or weight, but her build is probably medium/athletic. For her, medium worked best. We had ordered both medium and large to try both out.
As someone who has had injuries to her knees, and because they are extremely sensitive and prone to re-injuring, I purchased these knee pads specifically to do yoga. You were injured. While I was a teenager, I tore ligaments in my knee and I can sometimes feel dull pain, swelling afterwards after a knee injury. Now, I am much older and find any knee injury causes swelling and For sports of the like, such as volleyball, these knee pads may be of great use. They did help both keep my knees from being pressured, but I wish they weren't quite as tight. I have used them for yoga a couple of times and think they helped to keep the pressure off. Although I feel that they are extremely tight pulling them up, I take that as a good sign because they won't move or slide while I am wearing them. They are still quite tight, especially since I am 5'2'', 113 lbs and quite petite.
I struggled to get the right size for my daughter, and I haven't used the item yet. Our measurements were based on her leg circumference of 1-1 1/2 inches She measured right at 13 inches, a bit more than 2 inches above her knee. A size small would be defined as 13 inches or under according to the comment and packaging. We ordered a medium since it had a bit of a thicker feel to it. There was a tight fit among the mediums. After we tried them on, we didn't know if they would stretch so we ordered the next size large which fitted perfectly. She will update me once she uses them for a little.
For my daughter, I bought these. it took two games for them to break in, but so far everything seems to be working as it should. Several reviews claim the pad will fall apart on the first use, but we have not experienced that. It seems they have been perfectly fine through the season, at least no issues have been reported.
I can sort of compare it to being a soccer mom, only you can't drink on the sidelines because the games are held.
Having used Mizuno knee pads for many years, my daughter usually gets about a season and a half of use from each pair. Our purchase was made on October 14, and they arrived today, Oct 29. Now, they are both frayed and falling apart. There's no quality control now, so I guess something changed.
They were a perfect fit for my daughter and she loved them! Her first pair of jeans were fine until the third time she wore them. This has happened in a few other reviews as well. The Mizuno kneepads that my daughter has worn in the past were more durable than some of the other types. As of now, we have replaced these with Nike Streaks, which have done It is important to me that my daughter has quality kneepads while she still plays travel volleyball since I really don't want her to damage her knees on such an important day for her. Despite the protective padding, these are not durable enough due to the fabric.
It smells really odd when they're around. There is a strong smell of gasoline. I have even soaked the gloves over night, but I do not seem to be able to eliminate it. This was my first time ordering these for my daughter, and I have ordered these before without any problems. They were ordered by her because she was so satisfied with their performance. I was glad they held up so well after two There's nothing better than gasoline smell, which adheres to every surface.
