actually went over very well with everyone, even my 10 year old nephew and 34 year old husband. She can wear it because it is not too long, which makes it a great length for the 4 year old. You should consider fully unwrapping the gift before giving it as a gift, if you're giving it as a gift. This is the first one my niece has seen before and when the ribbon is all wrapped up, it is hard to tell exactly what it is. I had to wait a few minutes for it to open. If only I had unwrapped it before she opened her gift, I could have made sure it was there to go. I am not making a dig at this product itself just thought I would let you know if you are giving it.
The problem is. Despite the ribbon's fine qualities, the sticker at the end where it is supposed to be held from unraveling cannot be removed. The top of mine almost seemed to melt. That kind of ruines the overall look of the ribbon, so I'm disappointed.
Especially when they chase each other around the house waving this thing around or standing still with it swirling all around, they love this thing. As a result, the youngest one likes to pretend that it's a magic wand and screams "Abra Cadabra" whenever he waves it. The ribbon is also entertaining to me when I swirl it around after my kids put it down. To be honest, I am surprised the toy has lasted this long, but it is a great simple toy. A product like this would be worth purchasing.
believe that my cat likes the ribbon, but it isn't as silky as I thought it would be. There is a bit of plastic in it so, has a smaller bite area, and does not respond as quickly to claws and teeth as his last silk streamer did. The stiffness of it has already caused him to poke holes in it. I feel that it is shorter than what it is listed as as it is the same length as his previous streamer, but there is nowhere near as much give. I probably won't buy the bulk pack ). IMPORTANT NOTE As your child examines the ribbon, he or she will notice the plastic texture.
Although I was very excited to receive this ribbon, I was shocked when I realized that the stick/wand part was shorter than the photo.
