In a nutshell, I was looking for a racket that would fit my three and four year old. The 21 inch racket is perfect. It was the first time ever I took them out to play and I was surprised at how quickly my 4-year-old was able to hit the ball when I tossed it to her. Working on backhand was especially helpful. This racket is truly excellent, and has helped her feel more comfortable and confident out there.
Neither the racket nor the strings are elastic enough. Tennis is a ball-hitting sport, but the racket must be able to give the ball speed. Strings and ball meet, the strings are initially arranged opposite to the direction in which the ball is supposed to go, then the strings give the ball pacing. There was nothing like solid wood about the way this racket hit the ball. The racket was kept since it belonged to a child 4 and taking it back was a disappointment. When I was in high school, I was the captain of the tennis team and had a state ranking. With this racket, I would not be able to hit a new tennis ball with any power.
My mother has been buying this brand of toothpaste for years, and I've always been happy with it. It just so happened that my kids were just starting to pick up the game, so I bought It has lasted through the ringer for my kids who are very destructive and put this through their paces. I really appreciate how easy it is for my kids to swing, and it provides a great value for it since it is so powerful. If you are buying a grip, you should make sure that the size is right. It can sometimes be difficult for them to control the grip if it's too large. Their tightness of the strings (not too tight, as it makes better control easier) was excellent. This product is outstanding. I highly recommend it.
I recommend this racquet to my 12-year-old daughter as an ideal beginner tennis racquet. It is priced correctly.
A sizing/ age chart can be found on one of the images, but I recommend ignoring it. It might be better to click on the photo with the racket with the merchandising covering, since it gives a general idea of how old a player is. Children ages 4 and older should be able to enjoy this show The racket was too small even for my petite 7-year-old daughter, which is unfortunately the result of my disregard for the racket covering age range and following the chart recommendation instead. I happened to find one that was a bit cheaper and in stock right now. In order to have it sized up, I'll return it. As far as I can tell, I should have been aware of that. This racket is still a good deal for a child, particularly if they are young.
In a nutshell, It is better than the common brand racquets you can buy at big stores since it is balanced and lightweight. This is a great product for kids up to about 10 years old.
Maybe it's typical or we could have avoided it with more diligence, but it's the only thing standing in the way of an ideal.
It is the perfect racket for a child due to its light weight. The cost of the tennis lessons I was looking for was affordable, as my son has just started playing. When he saw it, Coach told him it was the right one.
