It's a tball bat, to be precise. It has some weight to it, which is good. It's no problem for my four-year-old to swing. He isn't swinging for the fences, but he is gaining experience. Has a nice finish on the bat, which is cupped at the top. It's a little long for him, but he'll get used to it. That was a fantastic first pitch.
First and foremost, all of the people on here who claim that the bat is perfect for their 3/4-year-olds and then post videos of their child taking one of the most heinous swings ever should be ignored. They clearly have no idea what they're talking about. This is not a bat for children under the age of three. However, if you have an older 5 or 6 year old with a good swing and above average strength and want to work on some overload training, this is a fun bat to have them use.
