A large wooden dowell would be preferable. My five-year-old son is the one who uses it. He has a decent swing, but it doesn't allow the ball to pop off the barrel with this bad. USA bats do not appeal to me. Use USSSA bats if your league permits it.

This is a great value for the money; he's only in his first season, but he's already hitting the ball well. Because it's "the nicest bat [he's] ever seen," his coach chose it for all of the kids to use in their professional photos.

So far, my daughter has enjoyed using this bat in t-ball. ball. It's longer and heavier than the bats used by her teammates. Her bat hangs lower than the others, as you can see in the photo with all of the bats hanging. Overall, she received an excellent bat.

Coach pitch leagues are ideal for younger children

My 8-year-old daughter was dating a young man. Coached a 10-year-old baseball team and noticed he was having trouble with the bats the kids had and the ones provided by the park district. He was swinging for the downs when I got this one for him! For t-shirts, this is an excellent bat. Youth and ball!.

Sizes may not always be available at your local sporting goods store. The smaller 24/14 size will make a big difference for some smaller t-ball players.
