a box of twelve
They bounce a little more than tennis balls, but not nearly as much. They have about half the bounce of a regular tennis ball, in my opinion.
One dozen (12) balls are included in the price. Make sure you order the correct size, as there are softball and baseball sizes; the softballs I ordered were 12" softballs.

These have been in my possession for 5 years and I adore them. People who have used them frequently comment on how nice they are and inquire about where they came from. Great for hitting in a small space (we have a green belt area across the street, but people park their cars, so no worries about breaking windows or denting cars) and don't go as far as a tennis ball but further than a whiffle ball, giving kids a sense of power, and obviously more like baseball to throw than a whiffle ball (less erratic flight and can throw further). Perfect for tball (many soft baseballs still pack a punch) and young players in general because they are easier to catch than tennis balls (tend to bounce out of glove), but they can peg someone and won't hurt them (less weight than tennis balls). They're sturdier than the photo suggests - It's not like they're foam sponge balls. They will become dirty quickly over time, so bright yellow will last about 2 uses before fading to a dingy yellow, but none of them have come apart. If the kids are hitting, the adult coaches can toss these around the bases without fear of injuring anyone.
These were purchased for my daughter to hit off a tee while indoors. I don't have to be concerned about a ball passing through a net because one of these balls can literally hit a wall with full force and not leave a mark.
I bought these for my daughter to use in the house to practice her pitching motions. The only drawback is the weight; she's gotten a lot better with the repetitive motion, but it's difficult to know if the release point is correct when the weight is off.
The cost of a half-day is $18. This deal was a steal at a dozen. There isn't much to say about the product itself because it's simply a foam baseball that can be used in a variety of pitching machines. Great product for younger kids to learn how to hit without fear of being hurt when a pitch is thrown at them.
It's ideal for hitting indoors.
It's the ideal training tool for reducing ball phobia.
They're great for barehanded drills and getting the Rise Ball out of the machine.
