I think this glove would be a very good fit for a junior The glove was used by my daughter for a couple months and overall she liked the way it performed I noticed that she kept dropping the balls I threw back to her, so I changed the ball to a new Easton Stealth Pro I got on eBay at a very good price. A few days later, I tried the glove on and discovered the leather binding which bonds the fingers to the body was exceptionally loose I tightened it up and removed 2 inches A change like this makes a significant difference in anyone's ability to hold onto a ball, and is the primary reason why she lost many In spite of this, it is only an average glove since it struggles to hold structure, but it is significantly better than the Mizuno gloves we purchased which totally failed after a season of rec and a year of travel ball (a ball could knock the fingers Though I'm not sure how well the Stealth Pro will take to travel, after half a dozen games it's okay but not great. I wouldn't consider this glove for a serious travel ball player in 12U+ or younger.
