My Mizuno catcher's mitt is one of my favorites. In the first place, I was a left hander and it's difficult to find left handed gloves, and I needed a mitt to catch for the girls I teach pitching Although it was stiff as a brick, I managed to install it. To fully break it in, I had to take it somewhere and have it steamed a good 5 times straight. After breaking it in, it took a week for it to come into its own. I am in love with Mizuno gloves! They're my favorite brand. I would definitely recommend this glove if you're looking for a good catcher's mitt.
The glove holds up well to my daughter's pitching skills, but it does take time for it to soften up and feel comfortable on.
